1. 2 MANHATTAN Using the included USB cable connect the SATA Quick Dock to a USB port on the computer or hub 2 Using the included power adapter connect the SATA Quick Dock to an AC power outlet 3 Press the Power button to turn on the Dock It will automatically find and install the necessary driver s The LED should light to indicate power 4 Insert a hard disk drive 2 5 or 3 5 firmly into the Dock Power USB jack port Power Activity One touch LED Power Backup button button MANHATTAN Insert the included software CD in your computer s CD ROM drive The software needs to be installed in order to operate the SATA Quick Dock You have two options for transferring or copying data to or from hard disk drives HDDs Clone Drive for duplicating a drive s entire contents and individual file folder backup CloneDrive While the CloneDrive option conveniently transfers all data from one HDD to another it also formats the HDD in the Dock so be sure it doesn t already contain any data you don t want erased MANHATTAN accepts no responsibility for lost data 1 In the Dock place an HDD that has a capacity equal to or larger than your system HDD NOTE Drives can be inserted or removed from the SATA Quick Dock while it is powered on but take extra precautions against electrical discharges 2 Press the One touch Backup button for 3 seconds to activate the CloneDrive software which will display the status screen b2.
