Enter the name command followed by the outlet number and desired name of the outlet Example pm gt name 2 chispa 2 Outlet now named chispa To save the configuration with the save command 1 Log in to the PM IPDU 2 Enter the save command to save the configuration Resetting the admin password In the event the administrator wants to reset the password for the PM IPDU for example if the administrator forgets the admin password then the loopback connector that is shipped with the PM IPDU may be used for temporary access to the PM IPDU To reset the admin password using the loopback connector 1 If you are not logged out log out by entering exit You must be at the login prompt for this to work Connect the loopback connector shipped with the PM IPDU to the OUT port Check the display If you are watching the PM IPDU s console output your status will be reported 4 After one minute you may remove the loopback connector The password for the user admin is reset to the default pm8 and you should be able to log into the PM IPDU using the default 12 Cyclades PM IPDU Installer Administrator User Guide username password For maximum security the admin password should be changed as soon as possible Upgrading the PM IPDU firmware The upgrade procedure described here is only valid for units that are currently running firmware versions 1 3 0 or greater If your PM IPDU is running an older firmware version please follow the ins
