Creating an Assemble List You can create an Assemble List with files you want to splice together Afterwards you can always edit the Assemble List by changing the order of the files and adding or deleting files To add files to an Assemble List proceed as follows 1 Make sure you have installed DVgate from the application CD if applicable see the printed Specifications sheet and Application CD Guide Launch DVgate Assemble Click the Add button The Add dialog box appears Choose AVI file in the Files of type drop down box If you select Add all divided files saved with the same name DVgate Assemble will add all serial numbered files with the same name to the list Serial numbered files are files that are created when DVgate Motion saves files that are split and applies consecutive numbers to them The numbers of the split files have 4 digits and increase one unit at a time starting with 0001 Select a file and click Open The AVI file is added to the list Imported files are added at the end of the Assemble List You can only add video files in AVI DV CODEC format and still image files in BMP JPEG and GIF formats Please see the help files for information on converting non compatible AVI files When you add a still image file BMP JPEG or GIF the number of frames converted size and size conversion mode are shown You can save an Assemble List for future use Assemble List files can only be us

CDs You can recover only the software bundled to your computer It does not work for the software you have installed subsequently or the data you have created This procedure recovers the entire system which means you cannot choose to only recover Windows Make sure that your computer is connected to the AC power supply not to the battery before you attempt a system recovery When the recovery is performed you are recommended to remove the recovery CD ROM from the drive before restarting the computer Using partitioned drives In My Computer you may have noticed the availability of two drive partitions C and D Your hard disk drive comes from the factory with 2 logical partitions This does not mean that your computer contains two physical hard disks When you start using your computer your C partition also referred to as C drive contains all the files required by Windows and other pre installed software while the D drive is empty The D drive is the ideal storage space for all your documents and files especially larger ones like digital motion pictures captured by DVgate Although you can perform a system recovery and change the partition settings in order to have one C drive only this option is not recommended for using video editing applications like DVgate To optimise data storage use the C drive to install new applications and save all your documents and files to the D drive Moreover doing so will prev
