The double oven can be built in the kitchen units but you must ensure that it is properly ventilated In the diagram the appliance is ventilated by means of the space in the top of the kitchen cabinet Lift the appliance into position onto the shelf taking care NOT to lift it by the door handles If you open the oven doors you will see some screw holes The oven should then be secured to the housing by fitting screws into these holes Remember the housing should not be free standing but be secured to the wall and or adja cent fittings Dimensions Co 888 e The appliance must be housed in heat resistant units e The walls of the units must be capable of resisting temperatures of 75 C above room temperature WARNING When correctly installed your product meets all safety requirements laid down for this type of product catego ry However special care should be taken around the rear or the underneath of the appliance as these areas are not designed or intended to be touched and may contain sharp or rough edges that may cause injury OVEN DOOR Es LOWER TRIM AIR FLOW Fig 6 2 IMPORTANT To avoid damage to the lower trim please note the following instructions The lower trim is designed to allow for good air circulation and the correct opening of the oven
3. full and hermetically sealed jars is done in the following way a Set the switch to position b Set the thermostat knob to position 175 C and preheat the oven c Fill the dripping pan with hot water d Set the jars onto the dripping pan making sure they do not touch each other and the door and set the ther mostat knob to position 125 C When sterilization has begun that is when the contents of the jars start to bubble turn off the oven and let cool REGENERATION Set the switch to position and the thermostat knob to position 150 C Bread becomes fragrant again if wet with a few drops of water and put into the oven for about 10 minutes ROASTING To obtain classical roasting it is neces sary to remember e that it is advisable to maintain a tem perature between 180 and 200 C e that the cooking time depends on the quantity and the type of foods COOKING DIFFERENT DISHES AT THE SAME TIME With the function selector in position the ventilated oven allows you to cook different types of food at the same time Fish cakes and meat can be cooked together without the smells and flavours mixing The only precautions required are the following e The cooking temperatures must be as close as possible with a maximum dif ference of 20 25 C between the dif ferent foods Different dishes must be placed in the oven at different times according to the cooking time required for each one This t
4. door To ensure the trim is not damaged due to the appliance being placed on the floor the appli ance should be suitably supported as in above illustrations After installation the appliance door should be slowly opened to ensure no damage has occurred No responsibility for lower trim damage will be accepted if these instructions have not 99 been followed ELECTRICAL SECTION ae Before effecting any intervention on the electrical parts the appli ance must be disconnected from the network GENERAL e The connection to the electrical net work must be carried out by qualified personnel and must be according to existing norms e The appliance must be connected to the electrical network verifying above all that the voltage corresponds to the value indicated on the specifications plate and that the cables section of the electrical plant can bear the load which is also indicated on the plate e The appliance can be connected directly to the mains placing an omnipolar switch with minimum open ing between the contacts of 3 mm between the appliance and the mains e The power supply cable must not touch the hot parts and must be posi tioned so that it does not exceed 75 C at any point e Once the appliance has been installed the switch must always be accessible e f the power supply cable is damaged it must be substituted by a suitable cable FEEDE

COMMENDATIONS FOR USE OF ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES Use of any electrical appliance implies the necessity to follow a series of fundamen tal rules In particular e Never touch the appliance with wet hands or feet e do not operate the appliance barefooted e do not allow children or disabled people to use the appliance without your supervi sion The manufacturer cannot be held responsible for any damages caused by improper incorrect or unreasonable use of the appliance USING THE DOUBLE OVEN FOR THE FIRST TIME You are advised to carry out the following operations e Assemble the interior of the oven as described under the heading Cleaning and maintenance e Switch the empty oven ON at maximum temperature for about two hours to eliminate traces of grease and smell from the components e Let the oven cool down switch off the electrical supply then clean the inside of the oven with a cloth soaked in water and neutral detergent and dry thoroughly IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS amp RECOMMENDATIONS Do not carry out any cleaning or maintenance without first disconnecting the appli ance from the electrical supply During and after use of the double oven certain parts will become very hot Do not touch hot parts After use always ensure that the control knobs are in the OFF position Keep children away from the double oven during use Do not allow young children or infirm persons to use the appliance without your supervision WARN

10. consult ing with the manufacturers recommen dations and testing a small sample of the oven cavity Abrasive cleaning agents or scouring pads cloths should not be used on the cavity surface NOTE The manufacturers of this appliance will accept no responsibility for damage caused by chemical or abrasive cleaning Let the oven cool down and pay special attention no to touch the hot heating elements inside the oven cavity 15 OVEN FITTING OUT e Assemble the wire racks to the oven walls using the 2 screws Fig 5 1 5 2 e Slide in on the guides the shelf and the tray fig 5 3 5 4 The shelf must be fitted so that the safety catch which stops it sliding out faces the inside of the oven e To dismantle operate in reverse order Top OVEN Bottom Main OVEN REMOVING THE OVEN AE DOORS The oven doors can easily be removed as follows e Open the door to the full extent fig 5 5a e Open the lever A completely on the left and right hinges fig 5 5b e Hold the door as shown in fig 5 5 e Gently close the door fig 5 5c until left and right hinge levers A are hooked to part B of the door fig 5 5b e Withdraw the hinge hooks from their location following arrow C fig 5 5d e Rest the door on a soft surface e To replace the door repeat the above steps in reverse o
11. ction A fan sucks in the air contained in the oven which circulates it through the cir cular heating element and then forced back into the oven by the fan Before the hot air is sucked back again by the fan to repeat the described cycle it envelops the food in the oven provoking a com plete and rapid cooking It is possible to cook several dishes simultaneously b by radiation The heat is radiated by the infra red grill element c by ventilation The food is defrosted by using the fan only function without heat WARNING The door is hot use the handle During use the appliance becomes hot Care should be taken to avoid touching heating elements inside the oven Main Oven Function THERMOSTAT KNOB fig 3 2 To turn on the heating elements of the oven set function selector knob to the required position and the thermostat knob to the desired temperature To set the temperature turn the thermostat control knob indicator mark to the required temperature The elements will turn on or off automati cally which is determined by the thermo stat The operation of the heating elements is signalled by a light placed on the control panel FUNCTION SELECTOR KNOB tig 3 1 Rotate the knob clockwise to set the oven to one of the following functions OVEN LAMP By turning the function selector knob to this setting the oven light will illuminate in the oven cavity 15W The oven light will operate on all sel
12. dic base The oven must always be cleaned after every use using suitable products ENAMELLED PARTS All the enamelled parts must be cleaned with a sponge and soapy water only or other non abrasive products Dry preferably with a microfibre or soft cloth Do not use harsh abrasive cleaners or sharp metal scrapers to clean the oven door glass since they can scratch the surface which may result in shattering of the glass Do not use a steam cleaner because the moisture can get into the appliance thus make it unsafe Do not store flammable material in the ovens CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE STAINLESS STEEL AND ALUMINIUM PARTS AND SILK SCREEN PRINTED SURFACES Clean using an appropriate product Always dry thoroughly IMPORTANT these parts must be cleaned very carefully to avoid scratch ing and abrasion You are advised to use a soft cloth and neutral soap WARNING When correctly installed your product meets all safety requirements laid down for this type of product catego ry However special care should be taken around the rear or the under neath of the appliance as these areas are not designed or intended to be touched and may contain sharp or rough edges that may cause injury INSIDE OF OVEN The oven should always be cleaned after use when it has cooled down The cavity should be cleaned using a mild detergent solution and warm water Suitable proprietary chemical cleaners may be used after first

18. oven door closed Grill with the oven door closed and for no longer than 30 minutes at any one time Attention the oven door becomes very hot during operation Keep children away OVEN COOKING Before introducing the food preheat the oven to the desired temperature For a correct preheating operation it is advisable to remove the tray from the oven and introduce it together with the food when the oven has reached the desired temperature Check the cooking time and turn off the oven 5 minutes before the theoretical time to recuperate the stored heat EJ FAN OVEN MAIN BOTTOM OVEN GENERAL FEATURES The heating and cooking in electrical hot air ovens take place by forced convection The two elements which make this pro cess take place are 2000 W 2200 W Grill element Circular element NOTE Upon first use it is advisable to operate the oven at the maximum temperature thermostat knob on the maximum posi tion for 60 minutes in the position to eliminate possible traces of grease on the heating elements Repeat the operation for another 15 min utes with the grill element on as explained in the chapters GRILLING and USE OF THE GRILL Attention The oven door becomes very hot during operation Keep children away oO 3 ee l OPERATING PRINCIPLES Heating and cooking in the fan oven are obtained in the following ways a by forced conve

20. rder 18 REPLACING THE OVEN LIGHTS a TOP and BOTTOM OVEN Before any maintenance is started involving electrical parts of the appli ance it must be disconnected from the power supply Let the oven cavity and the heating ele ments cool down Switch off the electrical supply Unscrew the protective cover fig 5 6 Unscrew and replace the bulb with a new one suitable for high temperatures 800 C having the following specifica tions 230 240V 50 Hz 15W E14 Refit the protective cover NOTE Oven bulb replacement is not covered by your guarantee ADVICE For THE INSTALLER IMPORTANT Appliance installation and maintenance must only be carried out by QUALIFIED TECHNICIANS and in compliance with the local safety standards Failure to observe this rule will invalidate the warranty Always unplug the appliance before car rying out any maintenance operations or repairs The walls surrounding the oven must be made of heat resistant material Taking care NOT to lift the oven by the door handle 6 INSTALLATION _ IMPORTANT e The appliance should be installed by a QUALIFIED INSTALLATION TECHNICIAN The appliance must be installed in compliance with regulations in force You need the following housing area to fit your oven correctly The double oven is designed to fit into a cabinet of 600 mm width
