17. itution Method performed at 514 nm The output of our probe is determined by comparing it to a NIST traceable working standard in front of a very stable CW argon laser stability lt 1 The working standard is in turn calibrated against a golden standard which is cali brated by NIST annually Our kW PowerMax probes which require water cooling are calibrated using a second method that incorpo rates the use of a 0 5 kW Nd YAG laser at 1064 nm Each kW probe is calibrated directly against a PM1K that is calibrated by NIST annually The laser output is stable to 196 Calibration Certificate NIST traceable calibration is included with each PowerMax probe you purchase The probe comes with a Certificate of Calibration that includes the Voltage Responsivity of the probe in mV W the wavelength of calibra tion the date of calibration and due date for recalibration and a listing of the NIST traceable standard used for this purpose The test data for each product is stored in our ISO com pliant MetTrak calibration data base In our industry it is highly recom mended that your laser power meter probe be calibrated at least annually or at anytime that you feel it may have been damaged by use Both the probe and the paperwork indicate the recalibration due date We will automatically notify you prior to this date to help keep your calibrated power probes current When you re ready to return your power meter to
