Using the DISC TITLE PRINTER Application This section describes the computer system required to run the DISC TITLE PRINTER application Important For information about connecting the printer to your computer see the section titled Connecting to a Computer in the CW 75 User s Guide Your Computer and Minimum System Requirements PC The following shows an example of a computer that meets the minimum requirements to run the application Check to make sure that your computer has a similar configuration Hard a Computer With a display adaptor O that supports at least 256 colors CD drive Color display Capable of displaying at least 256 colors Keyboard ol OO USB port The locations of the various ports may be different on your computer 10 Minimum System Requirements OS Microsoft Windows 98 98SE Me 2000 Professional or XP PC IBM PC AT with the following specifications e Windows 98 98SE Me 2000 Professional or XP pre installed e Pentium 266MHz or higher CPU or CPU recommended for running the OS you are using e USB port Memory 64MB minimum 128MB minimum recommended Hard disk At least 40MB available for installation of this application at least 60MB available for running the application Display Color display 256 colors minimum Full Color recommended compatible with Windows 98 98SE Me 2000 Professional or XP and capable of being connected to you

7. the location printing is positioned correctly and Disc is oriented correctly insert the Disc into the printer Cancel S pal 4 In accordance with the instructions on the screen place the disc onto the tray Set the disc onto the tray so it is inside of these raised guides When placing the disc on the tray take special care that it is oriented cor rectly to allow proper positioning of the label printing Important Check to make sure that there is no dirt dust or other foreign matter on the disc tray or the disc Dirt or dust can scratch the recording surface of the disc and make it impossible to record data onto the disc Make sure the label side of the disc is facing up So you can see it and the recording side is facing down towards the tray Placing the disc onto the tray upside down will result in printing on the recording side of the disc which will make the disc unrecordable Printing will be performed inside the area indicated by the guidelines on the disc tray If the disc already has a logo or other marking on it position it So printing will be performed in a blank area of the disc Guidelines 2 Printing is performed here Note See the section titled Printing a Label in the CW 75 User s Guide for more information about positioning the disc on the tray 5 Close the disc tray Press the disc tray with your hand until it clicks 6 Click Start printing e T

Eject Button Opens the disc tray This button performs the same operations as the button on the front of the printer Important The Eject button is disabled while a printing operation is in progress 29 Importing Text Data You can import CD Text data or track and incorporate it into the music label template CD Text data or track data can be created using Media Player or Easy CD Creator data In the case of a data label template and digital image label template you can import file names and folder names Importing text data eliminates the need to type it in manually Important You will not be able to import CD Text if your CD drive does not support CD Text reading Importing CD Text Data for a Music Label Before getting started be sure you have the disc whose CD Text data you want to import on hand What is CD Text CD Text is text data on a CD that provides the disc title artist names track names and other information You can import such text using the DISC TITLE PRINTER application and incorporate it into music labels Note that some CDs may not contain CD Text data 1 On the music label template main window click the B button 2 Click Import and then Import CD Text This displays a dialog box for selecting the drive where the CD that contains the text is located Import CD Text Imports CD Text data Insertthe CD whose data you want to import into the CD drive and then click Start Import
