10. 52 6 To cancel channel programming either press or highlight Abort in the on screen display and press When channel programming is finished press 4 or amp to view the programmed channels Manually adding and deleting channels in the channel memory After automatically programming channels into the channel memory you can manually add or delete individual channels To add or delete channels in the channel memory 1 Press E and open the Setup menu 2 Highlight Installation and press Anew set of Installation menu icons will appear on screen as shown below Open the Terrestrial menu highlight Channel Add Delete and then press hn Input Configuration Channel Program Channel Add Delete Signal Meter Navigate eres EXIT Exit 19 Chapter 4 Setting up your TV To add a channel to the channel memory Highlight the unchecked box next to the channel number you want to add and then press to check the box To manually add digital subchannels on a physical channel Use the Channel Numbers and the Dash Goo on the remote control to enter the channel number for example 56 1 If the channel is found the number will be added to the list and the box will be checked If the channel is not found a message will appear To remove a channel from the channel memory Highlight the checked box next to the channel number you want to remove and then press to u

14. 41 Chapter 6 Using the TV s advanced features Using the advanced picture settings features Using dynamic contrast When dynamic contrast is set to On the TV will detect changes in the picture quality that affect the appearance of your contrast settings and then automatically adjust the video When dynamic contrast is set to Off the settings selected in the Contrast field in the Picture Settings menu will be used r amp page 30 To select dynamic contrast preferences 1 Press E and open the Video menu 2 Highlight Advanced Picture Settings and press Inthe Dynamic Contrast field select either On or Off Advanced Picture Settings ANT 1 Dynamic Contrast lt On gt CableClear Auto MPEG Noise Reduction Low Color Temperature Cool Game Mode Off Reset Done 4 save the new settings highlight Done and press To revert to the factory defaults highlight Reset and press Note you select the Movie picture mode and then set the dynamic contrast to On the picture mode automatically changes to Preference in the Picture Settings menu t page 30 Using CableClear digital noise reduction The CableClear digital noise reduction feature allows you to reduce visible interference in your TV picture This may be useful when receiving a broadcast with a weak signal especially a Cable channel or playing a noisy video cassette or disc To change the CableClear settings 1 Press E
