Tap the Screen Saver field s highlighted box From the drop down list tap Enabled to enable a screen saver Tap the Wait Time field and then enter the number of minutes the phone should wait after no activity before displaying the screen saver You can enter a minimum of 1 minute and a maximum of 9999 minutes The default is 15 minutes 9 Tap the Save soft key 10 Tap acm to return to the idle screen After the number of minutes you specified in the Wait Time field your phone will display the screen saver You can stop the screen saver at any time by tapping the touch screen but the screen saver will re start if your phone is idle again 118 Polycom Inc Using Your Phone as a Picture Frame Customizing the Phone Display Stopping and Disabling Screen Savers You can stop a screen saver at any time and display the idle screen by tapping the touch screen After your phone is idle for the specified period of time the screen saver will start again You can disable a screen saver that is prevent it from starting even if your phone has been idle for the specified period of time by doing the following e Removing the USB flash drive The screen saver will not display until you attach the USB flash drive again and your phone has been idle for the period of time you specified e Disabling the Screen Saver setting When you disable the setting the screen saver will not display even though the USB flash driv

User Guide for the Polycom VVX 1500 C Business Media Phone for Cisco Unified Communications Manager SIP You don t have to access the video soft keys to display video on the full screen During a video call tap the window in the center of the touch screen to display the site on the full screen To display the site in the center of the touch screen again tap the touch screen outside of the PIP Swap Switches the windows the sites display in For example the site in the PIP will display in the window in the center of the touch screen and the site in the window in the center of the touch screen will display in the PIP When the near site displays in the window in the center of the touch screen Local camera displays next to it You don t have to access the video soft keys to swap the windows the sites display in During a video call tap the PIP to swap the windows the sites display in To swap windows again tap the PIP again If you want you can set up your phone to automatically display the far site on the full screen For more information see Changing How You View All Video Calls on page 126 Back Displays the call soft keys again For more information on using video and updating video settings see Changing When and How Video Displays on page 121 Changing the Way Calls are Answered You can change the way calls are answered by doing the following Forwarding All Calls to Another

20. page 133 Timeouts The period of time the phone should be idle before the touch screen turns off For more information see Changing Timeouts on page 134 e User Detection The sensitivity of the camera to detect motion so that the phone can enter power saving mode if it doesn t detect motion or exit power saving mode and display the idle screen if it detects motion For more information see Changing User Detection Settings on page 135 Changing Your Office Hours Polycom Inc Update your office hours so the phone will know when you re in the office Your office hours determine when the phone applies certain timeouts and when the camera should be most sensitive at detecting your presence When you update your office hours you specify when you start and how long you work each day To change your office hours 1 Tap gt Settings gt Basic gt Power Saving gt Office Hours gt Start Hour 2 From the Start Hour screen tap the day s of the week you want to update and then enter your start time s Enter a start time using the 24 hour clock You can enter a start time from 0 to 23 The default start time is 8 3 Tap the Save soft key 4 Tap Duration 5 From the Duration screen tap the day s of the week you want to update and then enter the number of hours you work for a particular day You can enter a duration of 0 to 12 hours per day The default duration is 10 hours per day for Monday
