STEREO Lights when a stereo FM broadcast is being received in auto stereo mode MONO Lights when the mono mode is set using the MPX button TUNED Lights when a broadcast is being received 14 Master volume level Shows the overall volume level dB indicates the minimum level and OdB indicates the maximum level Note Depending on the level settings you make for each channel the maximum level can range between 10dB and OdB gt Playing sources En Introduction to Sound Modes There are three basic sound options Stereo Direct Standard or Advanced Surround Stereo Direct When you select STEREO or DIRECT you will hear the source through just the front left and right speakers and possibly your subwoofer depending on your speaker settings Dolby Digital and DIS multi channel sources are downmixed to stereo In STEREO the audio plays according to the surround setup settings and you can still use Midnight mode Loudness mode and Tone Control functions When you select DIRECT the audio bypasses the tone controls and channel levels for the most accurate reproduction of a source Standard modes The Standard mode can be used to decode Dolby Digital DTS or Dolby Surround sources The surround mode options below can also add surround sound to regular stereo sources You can pes Dolby Digital software by the Surround OE iS parca Dames Dut unmarked software may also inc
