2. e During panorama still picture recording the zoom function is disabled f you record a motion picture with PANORAMA set to 360 PANORAMA or 180 PANORAMA zoom operations are available during recording but zoom will be automatically canceled when you stop e The panorama still picture that will be recorded will be narrower than what is displayed in the recording screen e Panorama still pictures are indicated by or in the 1 file or 8 file thumbnail display e When recording panorama still pictures the following functions are disabled and cannot be used FLASH SCENE MODE CREATIVE CONTROL BURST and SELF TIMER e The following function does not work with recording panorama still pictures E 1 S PICTURE e When recording panorama still pictures FOCUS is set to 2a AUTO 60 e Focus and White Balance will be fixed to the optimal values for the still picture for first frame Therefore if focus brightness or a light source changes drastically during recording the panorama still picture as a whole may not be recorded with optimal focus or a color tone Since panorama still picture is composed from multiple still pictures there may be cases where the subject may warp or connection may stand out In the following cases it may not be possible to record correctly When the swing speed is too fast or too slow When recording the subject that have monotone colors or patterns repe

MENU 9 EDIT VIDEO gt J SPLIT 96 3 Specify the starting position for the scene e Play back to near the position where you wish the scene to start then pause playback and specify the starting position precisely using Frame by Frame Playback The pause position will be the starting position of the scene e f you wish the split scene to start from the beginning of the scene go to Step 4 Operations Play back With the unit paused tilt the SET button to the right for approximately 2 seconds to play back normally and to the left to play back in the reverse direction Pause During playback press the SET button Fast forward During playback you can change the playback fast rewind speed by tilting the SET button right or left Frame by frame With the unit paused tilt the SET button to the right to advance frame by frame and to the left to reverse frame by frame 4 Tilt the SET button up e The screen for specifying the end position of the scene appears 5 Specify the end position for the scene e Set the end position by performing the same operations as when setting the start position e The portions displayed in green are saved e f you wish to splice a preceding section to a subsequent section tilt the SET button down Each downward tilt of the SET button changes the section to be deleted 6 Press the button or the recording start stop button 97
