4. www kodak com go support Doing more with your camera Using exposure compensation to adjust brightness In PASM C modes and first picture in Panarama page 26 mode you can adjust exposure compensation to make your pictures darker or lighter Press to increase exposure compensation and wr to decrease exposure compensation The exposure compensation level is shown on the LCD 403 and the LCD gets brighter or dimmer Using the histogram to view picture brightness Use the histogram to evaluate the distribution of light before or after you take a picture If the peak is to the right of the graph the subject is bright if the peak is to the left the subject is dark Optimal exposure is achieved when the peak is in the middle of the histogram To turn on the histogram in PASM C or Review press IOI until the histogram appears NOTE If a scene is dark or light you can adjust the exposure compensation before taking the picture www kodak com go support Cen 2 Doing more with your camera Using PASM C mode settings Settings apply only in PASM C Settings you change in PASM modes apply only to pictures taken in those modes Settings you change in C mode apply only to pictures taken in that mode For example if you change the Color Mode to Sepia while in P A S or M mode then Smart Scene mode and the manually selected Scene modes retain the default setting of Color NOTE The settings including Flash are maintained
