1. OPTION Press this button to scroll through the personalization features that are available on your vehicle RESET Press this button to reset sys tem functions when displayed or to acknowledge messages on the DIC This button is also used to select per sonalization features within Options Warnings and Messages lf a problem is sensed in one of your vehicle s systems a warning or mes sage will appear in the DIC display After a warning or message appears press the Reset button to clear the dis play screen for further use Remember pressing Reset only makes the message disappear it does not resolve the problem Note Your vehicle s warnings and mes Sages provide critical information that can prevent damage to your vehicle Review your Owner Manual to become familiar with the information displayed and the action required Check Warning Lights with OnStar if equipped If your Malfunction Indicator Lamp Check Engine Light illuminates or any other warning message appears you can press the blue OnStar button and speak to an OnStar Advisor In many vehicles OnStar Advisors can access certain diagnostic information and tell you how serious the condition is and what you should do about it See Section 3 of your Owner Manual KEYLESS ACCESS AND PUSH BUTTON START Your Corvette features Keyless Access and Push Button Start You can keep the Keyless Access transmitter in a pocket or purse and operate

Raise the window by pulling up the switch 3 Hold up the switch for three seconds after the window is closed and then release it 4 Hold up the switch again for three seconds and then release it See Section 2 of your Owner Manual TOP OPERATION 3 Lower the front edge of the roof panel Coupe Top 4 Turn the front handles to the closed Your coupe has a removable roof panel Until you are sure you can remove the panel alone have someone help you To Remove the Top There are two latches on the front part of the panel and one latch in the middle rear of the panel Lower the windows NO Pull down and turn the front handles to release the front latches To unlock the rear of the panel press the Latch Release button and pull down the latch 4 Lift the front edge of the panel up and forward out of the vehicle opening Once removed the roof panel should always be stored properly in the rear storage compartment Place it in the for ward position in the stowage receivers To Install the Top 1 Make sure that the front handles and the rear latch are in their opened positions Place the rear edge of the roof panel on the back of the roof opening aligning the roof panel pins with the opening in the body weatherstrip oo NO position and push up the rear latch lever then check that the roof panel is securely installed See Section 2 of your Owner Manual Convert

Turn on the A C 5 Select the coolest temperature 6 Select the highest fan speed A amp V Fan Press this button to man ually increase or decrease the fan speed Mode Press this button to manual lock in the current air delivery setting and to stop the automatic mode control To change the setting press the Mode button again and select one of the following Vent This mode directs most of the air to the instrument panel outlets e Bi Level This mode directs air to the instrument panel outlets and the floor outlets Floor This mode directs most of the air to the floor outlets Temperature Control The driver side knob changes the temperature on the driver s and passenger s side of the vehicle Turn the knob clockwise or counterclockwise to manually increase or decrease the temperature inside your vehicle The passenger side knob changes the temperature on the passenger s side of the vehicle See Section 3 of your Owner Manual Defogging To clear fog or frost from your wind shield press the Windshield Defogger button Gy This mode directs most of the air to the windshield When operat ing the Defog symbol appears on the display Rear Window Defogger To remove fog or frost from the rear window press the Rear Window Defogger button G3 to turn the rear window defogger on It will turn off automatically or can be turned off by pressing the button again The heated outside rearview m
4. after loss of pressure for up to 100 miles of continuous driving at 55 mph The shorter the distance that you drive with loss of pressure the better the chance that the tire can be repaired As soon as possible contact Roadside Assistance for the nearest authorized GM or run flat tire servicing facility and have the tire inspected See Section 5 of your Owner Manual Tire Pressure Monitor The Tire Pressure Monitor alerts you when a significant reduction in pressure occurs in one or more of your vehicle s tires by illuminating the low tire pressure warning light on the instrument panel The low tire pressure warning light will remain on until you correct the tire pressure You may also have a LOW TIRE PRES SURE message appear on the DIC Correcting the Tire Pressure When the low tire pressure warning light illuminates you must fill the tire to the proper tire inflation pressure The Tire and Loading Information label shows the correct inflation pressure for the tires when they re cold Cold means your vehicle has been sitting for at least three hours or driven no more than one mile You can temporarily remove the DIC message by acknowledging it with your DIC controls However at the next vehi cle start up the DIC message will reap pear if the tire pressure has not been corrected You may notice during cooler conditions that the low tire pressure warning light will appear when the vehicle is fi
5. turn is completed See Section 3 of your Owner Manual Seat Controls Six Way Power Seats The power seat controls are located on the outboard side of the seat cushion Move the front of the control up or down to adjust the front of the seat cushion Move the rear of the control up or down to adjust the rear of the seat cushion Slide the control forward or rearward to move the entire seat forward or rearward Power Lumbar and Side Bolsters if equipped Press the vertical lumbar switch for ward to increase support and rear ward to decrease support e Pull the horizontal side bolsters switch up to move the wings of the seatback in closer and push the switch down to move the wings out Heated Seats if equipped There is one heated seat control button for each seat located on the center console Off Press the bottom of the button O to turn the system off High Press the top of the button once to turn the system on high Low Press the top of the button twice to turn the system on low See Section 1 of your Owner Manual Window Indexing To provide a tight seal around each door the window will automatically lower slightly when the door is opened and then automatically rise fully when the door is closed If battery power is disconnected the indexing feature must be initialized after restoring power by performing the following procedure 1 Close the door 2

8. d As vehicle speed increases the trans mission will stay in the current gear until the paddle is pushed to upshift If the upshift is not commanded by pushing a paddle the vehicle speed will be limited in order to protect the engine See Section 2 of your Owner Manual Your vehicle s engine was designed to use premium unleaded gasoline See your Owner Manual for information on fuel use for your particular vehicle See Section 5 of your Owner Manual Brake noise may occur under certain weather or operating conditions with your performance braking system This brake system is designed for best per formance using semi metallic brake pads Brake noise is normal and does not affect system performance See Section 4 of your Owner Manual 10 Getting to Know Your Corvette AUDIO SYSTEMS RDS Radio Functions Your audio system is equipped with a Radio Data System RDS RDS fea tures are available for use only on FM stations that broadcast RDS information RDS relies on receiving specific informa tion from these stations and will work only when the information is available With RDS the radio can e Seek stations broadcasting the type of programming you select Press the CAT button and turn the Tune knob to select the desired category Press SEEK to search for the category selected e Receive announcements concerning local and national emergencies e Display messages from radio stations e Seek stations wi
9. eat replaced as soon as possible The Driver Information Center may display a Fob Battery Low message See Section 2 of your Owner Manual Loss of Keyless Access Transmitter Battery Power Under normal use the battery in your transmitter should last about three years If the transmit ter battery becomes weak it may cause the Driver Information Center to display a No Fobs Detected message when you try to start the vehicle PERFORMANCE FEATURES Mobil 1 Motor Oil Your Corvette comes factory filled with Mobil 1 with Super Syn motor oil Corvette s computer system monitors the life of the oil to inform you when it needs to be changed To view the remaining oil life press the Trip button repeatedly until Oil Life appears in the DIC display The oil life monitor is programmed to correspond to the attributes of Mobil 1 with Super Syn If you use any motor oil other than Mobil 1 or equivalent synthetic oil the oil life monitoring system will not be accurate Whenever your oil is changed press and hold the Reset button while Oil Life is displayed in the DIC display to reset the oil life monitor The system will reset to 100 and calculate when the next oil change is required See Section 5 of your Owner Manual Extended Mobility Tires EMT The Corvette is equipped with Run Flat Goodyear Extended Mobility Tires EMT that eliminate the need for a spare The tire design enables safe function during and
10. en INSERT CD appears on the able setting between 60 F 16 C and 90 F 32 C display place a CD partway into the Slot label side up The CD changer will pull the CD in Once the disc has been loaded INSERT CD will be displayed again indicating the next CD may be loaded Follow the prompts to load up to six CDs If the radio is on the last CD loaded will begin to play automatically When loading less than six CDs press the amp button to cancel the loading function If you set the system at the coolest or warmest temperature setting the system will remain in manual mode at that tem perature and it will not go into automatic mode 12 Getting to Know Your Corvette Manual Operation Off Press the driver side climate control knob to turn off the climate control sys tem This is the only setting that fully shuts off the fan The digital display will show only the outside temperature Recirculation Press this button to turn the Recirculation mode on or off When on it keeps outside air from com ing in the vehicle Recirculation is not available when using the Defog mode because outside air is needed to reduce moisture inside the vehicle X AIC Off Press this button to turn the air conditioning system off For maximum cooling on hot days do the following 1 Open the windows to let hot inside air escape then close them 2 Select the Vent mode 3 Select Recirculation mode 4
11. g bands are available XM1 and XM2 To access these bands press the BAND button until XM1 or XM2 appears on the display Activation fee and service subscription are extra XM service is based in the U S 48 contiguous states and in Canada if available For more infor mation contact XM online at www XMradio com or call 1 800 852 XMXM 9696 See Section 3 of your Owner Manual Note CDs with any affixed labels may jam in the CD player Label a CD using a permanent marker If more than one CD is inserted into the slot at one time Press and release the Load button or if scratched or damaged CDs are played the CD player could be dam aad l aged When using the CD player use Insert a CD partway into the slot only CDs in good condition without label side up The CD changer will labels load one CD at a time and keep pull the CD in Once loaded the CD the CD player and the loading slot free will begin to play automatically of foreign materials liquids and debris See Section 3 of your Owner Manual CLIMATE CONTROLS AUTO Automatic When automatic operation is active the system will auto matically control the inside temperature the air delivery mode and the fan speed To Load Multiple CDs l _ To set Automatic operation Press and hold for two seconds 1 Press the AUTO butt A beep will sound and LOAD ALL re So MIE VUON DISC will be displayed 2 Adjust the temperature to a comfort Wh
12. htness and the button to decrease the brightness of the HUD image Off To turn off the HUD image press and hold the button If you change your seat position you may have to readjust the HUD image for proper viewing If the ignition is on and you cannot see the HUD image check to see whether e Something is covering the HUD unit e The brightness is adjusted properly e The HUD image is adjusted to the proper height Ambient light is low in the direction your vehicle is facing A fuse is blown see Fuses and Circuit Breakers in your Owner Manual The windshield and HUD lens are clean do not spray glass cleaner directly on the HUD lens e You are wearing polarized sunglass es which could make the image harder to see See Section 3 of your Owner Manual 14 Getting to Know Your Corvette Personalization Features Your Corvette offers personalization capabilities that allow you to program certain features to a preferred setting for two different drivers Personalization Features will be recalled when the vehi cle senses the Keyless Access transmit ter as the door is opened when the lock or unlock button on the transmitter is pressed or when the appropriate Memory button on the driver s door is pressed Available Personalization Features include Auto Memory Recall Automatic Transmissions only if equipped Driver s seat outside review mirrors and telescopic steering wheel move to mem
13. ible Manual Top if equipped If your vehicle has a convertible manual top it can be lowered and stowed under the tonneau cover behind the seats To Lower the Convertible Manual Top 1 Shift an automatic transmission into Park or shift a manual transmission into Neutral Set the parking brake and turn off the ignition 2 Make sure the trunk is closed 3 Unlock the convertible top front latch by pulling it down and turning it clockwise Lift the front edge of the top off the windshield frame then lift the rear edge so it is vertical to the tonneau cover Press the release button located on the underside of the cover behind the driver s seat This will unlatch the tonneau cover and lower the driver s and passenger s side windows The cover will not unlatch if the vehicle alarm is turned on or the trunk lid is open With the tonneau cover open push forward on the front edge of the convertible top to allow the rear edge P O1 OD 18 Getting to Know Your Corvette of the top to move to its full down position then move the top rearward to its fully stored position 7 Make sure the top is fully retracted and close the tonneau cover Refer to your Convertible Top supple ment for additional information See Section 2 of your Owner Manual Convertible Power Top if equipped If your vehicle has a convertible power top it can be lowered and stowed under the tonneau cover behind the sea
14. ing covered in this booklet under Personalization Features See Section 2 of your Owner Manual Your Corvette provides three convenient ways of opening the hatch trunk e Touch the button located above the license plate the Keyless Access transmitter must be within three feet of the button Press the Trunk Release button locat ed to the left of the steering wheel e Press the Trunk Release button on the Keyless Access transmitter See Section 2 of your Owner Manual Getting to Know Your Corvette If the Transmitter Battery Is Weak Loss of Vehicle Electrical Power If your vehicle has lost battery power you can open the driver s door manually If Outside the Vehicle 1 Insert your master key into the lock cylinder located above the rear license plate and turn to open the trunk 2 Manually lift the trunk lid 3 Pull the door release handle located on the driver s side of the trunk The driver s door can now be opened peeathet rarer lo Place the transmitter in the glove box If Inside the Vehicle transmitter pocket with the buttons facing toward the passenger side of the vehicle 2 Press the brake pedal with the vehi cle in Park with an automatic trans mission or press the clutch pedal with a manual transmission 3 Press the Start button The vehicle will start e Pull the door release handle located The transmitter battery should be on the floor next to the s
15. irrors also will be cleared when 43 is pressed See Section 3 of your Owner Manual CONVENIENCE FEATURES OnStar if equipped The OnStar system provides in vehicle safety security and phone services available 24 hours a day 7 days a week These services are easily accessed through the three OnStar but tons in your vehicle For more information about OnStar fea tures refer to the OnStar Owner s Manual and Audio CD See Section 2 of your Owner Manual Head U o Display HUD Your vehicle s Head Up Display HUD projects a range of instrument panel cluster information on the windshield reducing the need to look away from the road The information appears as an image out toward the front of the vehicle The information displayed by the HUD includes the speedometer turn signal indicators high beam headlamps indica tor tachometer oil and temperature gauges performance shift light check gauges warning light and G force gauge The HUD controls are located on the instrument panel to the left of the steer ing wheel MODE Press this button to scroll through the three HUD modes of Street Mode Track Mode 1 and Track Mode 2 PAGE Press this button to customize the HUD modes as they are being displayed AV Press the up or down arrow to adjust the up and down position of the HUD on the windshield It cannot be adjusted side to side Press the button to increase the brig
16. is turned off See Section 2 of your Owner Manual Your vehicle is equipped with a Passenger Sensing System located in the front passenger seat for the front passenger frontal air bag and a passen ger air bag status indicator located on the rearview mirror See Sections 1 and 3 of your Owner Manual For your convenience the headlamp control can be left in the AUTO mode for automatic operation Automatic operation can be overridden by selecting the Off On position To reset to AUTO mode turn the head lamp control switch back to On and then back to AUTO Automatic mode will also reset the next time the vehicle is started if the switch is in AUTO position See Section 3 of your Owner Manual To adjust the brightness of the interior lights turn and hold the interior light control knob located on the left side of the instrument panel Push the knob in to turn the lights on and off See Section 3 of your Owner Manual _ The turn signal lever has two upward and downward positions to signal a lane change or a turn To signal a lane change raise or lower the lever until the arrow on the instrument panel cluster starts to flash Release the lever The turn signal will automatically flash three times 16 Getting to Know Your Corvette To signal a turn move the lever all of the way up or down The arrow on the instrument panel cluster will flash The turn signal will stop flashing when the
17. nce to turn off the Traction Control system Press amp twice to activate the Competitive Driving Mode Press and hold to turn off the Active Handling and Traction Control Systems When turned off the Active Handling system and Traction Control System light will come on a chime will sound and the Traction System and Active Handling Off message will be displayed in the DIC To turn on the Active Handling and Traction Control Systems press again The system also will reset to On each time the vehicle is started Chevrolet recommends that Active Handling and Traction Control be left on See Section 3 of your Owner Manual 1st 4th Shift Feature Manual Transmission The 1st 4th Shift Feature helps you get the best possible fuel economy A 1st 4th shift light will come on when the following conditions are met e Engine coolant temperature is higher than 169 F 76 C e You are going 15 to 19 mph 24 to 31 km h and e You are at 21 percent throttle or less When the 1st 4th shift light comes on you can only shift from First 1 to Fourth 4 instead of First 1 to Second 2 You must complete the shift into Fourth 4 to turn off this feature After shifting to Fourth 4 you may downshift to a lower gear if you prefer Note Forcing the shift lever into any gear except Fourth 4 when the 1st Ath shift light comes on may damage the transmission See Section 2 of you

19. ory set driving position Settings Yes No Auto Exit Recall if equipped Driver s seat outside review mirrors and telescopic steering wheel move to mem ory exit position Settings On Off Approach Lights Activate parking lamps front fog lamps and back up lamps when you approach the vehicle Settings On Off Twilight Delay Parking lamps and front fog lamps remain on with the auto matic headlamp system for a selected period of time after exiting the vehicle Settings Off Exit Lights 15 30 or 90 seconds Flash at Unlock Two short flashes of all turn signals when the doors or trunk is unlocked Settings No Flash At Unlock Flash At Unlock Flash at Lock One long flash of all turn signals when the doors are locked Settings Flash At Lock No Flash At Lock Fob Reminder Horn sounds three times when the driver s door is closed and a Keyless Access transmitter is inside the vehicle Settings Off On Passive Door Locking Automatically locks the doors when the ignition is turned off the Keyless Access transmit ter has been removed from the vehicle and the doors have been closed for eight seconds Settings Passive Lock Off Silent Passive Lock Horn At Passive Lock Passive Door Unlock Automatically unlocks either the driver s door or both doors when the Keyless Access trans mitter is within three feet of the door and the driver s door touch pad is pressed Settings Drive
20. r s Door Both Doors Auto Unlock Automatically unlocks either the driver s door or both doors when the shift lever is moved into Park with an automatic transmission or the ignition is turned off or is in RAP acces sory mode with a manual transmission Settings Auto Unlock Off Driver s Door Both Doors Language Select language in DIC and Head Up Display Settings English German French ltalian Spanish Japanese Personalize Name Show a name or greeting on the DIC display when the corresponding Keyless Access transmit ter is used or the memory button is pressed Settings Off On Personal Options Menu To change the preferences of your Personalization Features e Make sure the vehicle is running and in Park P with an automatic transmission or in Neutral with a manual transmission with the parking brake set e Press the OPTION button the DIC will display the current driver 1 or 2 for a few seconds and then display the first Personal Options Menu item e Use the RESET button to change the setting of the displayed feature Press the OPTION button to scroll through the list of features e Ifa button is not pressed within 45 seconds the DIC will exit the Personal Options Menu Retained Accessory Power RAP As an added convenience Retained Accessory Power RAP powers the vehicle s accessories radio power win dows etc for a limited period of time after the ignition
21. r Owner Manual Automatic Modes The familiar automatic transmission shift positions have been replaced with PRNDS Drive D is the conventional automatic shift mode optimized for smooth shifts The Sport S mode also can be operated in a full automatic mode with firmer shifts delivering enhanced performance but only if the manual paddle shifters on the steering wheel are not used Manual mode is selected by using the manual paddle shifters in the Sport S mode which puts the driver in control of gear selection Sport Mode S Place the shift lever in the Sport S mode to shift gears using the paddle shifters Push either paddle to upshift to the next higher gear Squeeze either paddle behind the steer ing wheel spokes to downshift to the next lower gear The current gear will be displayed in the DIC on the instrument cluster or the Head Up Display HUD if equipped lf the current vehicle speed is too low when requesting a higher gear or is too high when requesting a lower gear the shift will not occur and an X over the gear display will indicate that the requested gear was denied Starting From a Stop In the Sport mode the transmission will automatically downshift as the vehicle slows down From a stop it will start in second gear It may also be started in third gear if necessary such as when starting on slippery roads Commanding the vehicle to start up in fourth gear or higher will be denie
