Diagram 2 I Operating instructions Surround sound speaker systems using the 5 1 formatare designed to connectto compatible audio devices offering 5 1 output Many PC sand DVD players already offer this type of output Ifyou only have a2 channelstereo outputit may be possible to purchase a Dolby digital5 1 decoder which will convert this into a5 1 format This isnot included with these speakers If you mustuse a2 channelinput thenthis should be connected to the front Land frontR input This willresult ina stereo output only 1 POSITIONING If you have the 5 1 surround sound inputthen you can experience the full performance ofthis system Youwill have the individual outputs for the subwoofer front stereo rear stereo and frontcentre speakers Position the front stereo speakers infront ofthe listening position with an equal distance tothe leftand rightsides Ideally the speakers should be aboutear height when sitting to listen ifpossible and slightly away from arear wall or they can be hooded ontoa wallif necessary Ifthey are placed ona slippery surface alittle blue tack may help hold them in place Thesespeakers contribute a lotto the overall audio so careful placement is crucial to your enjoyment ofthe music The centre speaker should be placedon the top ofyour TV set or your computer monitor if applicable as this speaker is used forvocal content The voicesin a movie need to soundas thoughthey are coming fromthe TV set sotry po
