2. 174 240 MHz and L Band 1 452 1 492 MHz This unit is able to receive both Service bands Audio signal and service information 10 2 DAB Digital Audio Broadcasting tuning Preparing the DAB tuning Before tuning into DAB services you must perform the automatic scanning YAMAHA 06066 AUTO SCAN BAND BAND 01 AUTO SCAN 0000 GGG i 0 Press BAND on the front panel or remote control repeatedly to select DAB as the reception band The DAB indicator lights up in the front panel display and then DAB initialize appears in the front panel display When you select DAB as the reception band for the first time the following message appears for 2 second This unit starts scanning for DAB services in the area and add them to the channel list as they are found The number of channels found is displayed The number is updates when new channels are found Once the scanning is complete this unit is tuned into the DAB service of the DAB service registry list ale 592 When you have already performed the automatic scanning before you set this unit to the DAB tuning mode for the first time DAB initialize does not appear in the front panel display See step 2 on page 12 and proceed with the DAB tuning
