5. 2090 RETURN Appendix A Programming the Watchdog Timer 103 104 PPC S123 User s Manual APPENDIX Full Disassembly Procedures If you want to completely disassemble the panel PC follow the step by step procedures below Users should be aware that Advan tech Co Ltd takes no responsibility whatsoever for any problems or damage caused by the user disassembly of the panel PC Make sure the power cord of the panel PC is unplugged before you start disas sembly The following procedures do not include the detailed disassembly procedures for the CPU HDD and SDRAM all of which can be found in Chapter 3 1 Detach the CPU heatsink and HDD carrier as described in Chapter 3 Then disconnect the HDD cable by pulling the connector from the CPU board as shown in Figure B 1 IDE Connector Figure B 1 Disconnect the IDE connector 106 PPC S123 User s Manual 2 Use the pliers to remove the fuse Figure B 2 Remove the fuse 3 Unscrew the four screws located at the corner and the three screws located on the button of the panel PC to separate the front and rear panel Figure B 3 Remove the seven screws on the rear panel Appendix Full Disassembly Procedures 107 4 After separating the front and rear panel you can find the LCD module and CPU board respectively Figure B 4 Separate the front and rear panel 5 Unscrew the four screws located at the corner of the LCD to remove the LCD and inverter
