1. This ultrapure water dispensing system has been engineered to consistently produce ultrapure water exceeding every requirement for ASTM Type purity The system is user friendly requires minimal space and maintenance and harmonizes with existing laboratory equipment all at a low initial investment and low operating cost A central dispensing station can supply the high quality water needs of one lab bench or an entire laboratory The system may be wall mounted set on a bench or free standing where bench space is of a premium A unique feature of the Gemini is the Multi Pass UV treatment system in which water passes through a special system of self cleaning Teflon coils While in these coils the water is exposed to the appropriate amount of ultraviolet wavelength to produce biological control This patented technology eliminates the performance deterioration that has been seen over time in other systems and minimizes the maintenance and operating costs compared to other systems The influent water is treated by UV irradiation prior to entering the polishing cartridges phase thereby protecting the system s critical components from bio contamination biofilm buildup and eventual spill over into the product water The polished water is again UV irradiated before leaving the unit The Gemini delivers water of unsurpassed microbiological organic and ionic purity through the dispensing faucet which is continuously exposed to UV
