3. id column Simply copy the section you want to display the tab under into the appropriate spot 2 Creating a new section list item Section list items represent the third and lowest level of our 3 tier section data hierarchy The content stored in here is the actual financial relevant information The section list item table is comprised of 6 columns The id and heading columns are the same as section and section tabs The section_tab_id links this entry with an existing tab The section tab 1d you want can be found under the id column in the section tab table 1 Creating a new infographic This column entry is represented by a data type string The string references an image stored in the application discussed later some reference here with the EXACT name Be sure that the names match exactly or the image will not display It is not necessary to provide an info graphic for a list item 2 Content and Section More The content field represents the summarized or shortened version of the content that will be displayed on the section screen beneath the Tab The more column displays the full content and is visible once the content portion is clicked on in the application The new page will also display the infographic if provided 3 Creating a new glossary item In order to create a new glossary term said admin must navigate to the table called glossary_terms Creating a new term is fairly
4. used in place of scrolling tabs Clicking on each button will redirect to a page similar as in Android Credit Credit Cards Overview Things To Know Charges Payments Using A Credit Card Getting Cards 11 Page ADMINISTRATOR MANUAL 12 Page I Data Management Overview Data for the application is stored both remotely on a server and in the application itself This manual discusses how to determine where the data is where to add new data and the components that allow the applications to communicate with the database Database Content Management 1 Overview The database is structured to store data for particular components of the application The database is divided into 5 separate tables There is a table for glossary items questions submitted through the Ask an Expert feature and 3 tables which describe the different levels of the learn category structure This guide will discuss the components of each table and show how they do or don t relate with one another 2 Login The database has relatively low level security and therefore is only password protected No encryption was necessary for this project 3 Creating a new section In order to create a new section the admin must navigate to the table entitled sections Once in the table the said user will be presented with the existing sections in the application In order to create a new section a new heading must be given to the section This headin

7. eference information in the application is broken into a hierarchy of categories the top level will be referred to as categories throughout the document The categories of the application are Credit Credit Cards Budget Loans Student Loans Travel Fraud and International Students Each category contains various subsections of information Depending on the volume and content of the category the navigation tool will either be scrollable tabs or a list 1 1 2 1 Scrollable Tabs Related questions are grouped together on the same tab In order to keep the information on this page readable information is kept short and direct If more information is available a more information button on the subcategory will allow the user to view the information at greater length and detail This detailed view will occupy its own page In the Android application this is represented with tabs which can be seen in Fig 3 1 2 1 In the 10S application scrollable tabs will instead be contained within a dropdown menu more on this in 3 3 nie anme fee K Fd 6 02 E Tr Credit CREDIT OVERVIEW CALCULATING CREDIT CI Sle ey What is credit Credit is borrowed money used to purchase things when you need them that must be paid back later As you make payments you build credit history which is recorded on your credit report Making timely payments builds positive credit history and helps lenders know how likely you are to repay future loans Why d
8. g will be what displays throughout the application and represents the top level of all the information below it in the hierarchy Keep note of the section id assigned on creating a new entry This will be needed for further section creation One important note to consider The application will not run if the user does not specify at least one nested tab for the newly created section 1 Managing section type The second critical element is the type This integer represents which type of section to create As it is now the number 0 represents sliding tab section and represents listed sections 4 Creating a new Section tab Important As previously stated the admin must create at least one section tab for each newly created Section element A section tab represents the second level of the 3 tier hierarchy in our section data management scheme The section tab is displayed on tabbed sections only however is still necessary in the case of listed sections Use section tab with heading Travel Tips as an example for creating a section listed tab The tab requires 2 components in order to be created heading and section ID The heading is what will appear on the sliding tab in the application 1 linking with section id It is imperative that the field section_id be filled out in order to display the tab in under the correct relevant section The section_id said admin will provide is found under the section table
