To perform a hard reset 1 Press HOME gt MENU then tap Settings 2 Scroll down the screen then tap SD card amp phone storage 3 Below the Internal phone storage section tap Factory data reset 4 When prompted tap Reset phone The phone resets and displays the Home screen Managing Your T Mobile G1 10 5 Software Updates Google may from time to time bring out new or updated versions of the software your phone uses When they do that Google will send over the air updates to your phone so that it automatically downloads the new software You won t need to do anything to get the new software your phone will automatically connect to the Internet to download the updates In the UK you won be charged for connecting to the Internet to download these over the air updates but when you re not in the UK you will be charged our usual mobile Internet travel rates for downloads The cost of these downloads will be added to your next bill and please remember that these over the air updates can be up to 64 MB in size Please see www t mobile co uk services going abroad for full details of the roaming charges in the country you re travelling to To avoid being automatically charged for downloading any over the air updates when you re not in the UK you should deactivate data roaming on your phone before travelling abroad This will mean you won t be able to access the Internet or use any other data services e g TV on your phone w
