3. Number of degrees relative to the DRT where a function begins DIFF DIFFerential is the number of degree changed before stopping the output For example with a differential 1 F the 410 turns on a fan at 70 F when temperature increases but it will shut it off only at 69 F when the room is cooling down The differential is necessary to avoid oscillations MOD BAND MODulation BAND is the number of degrees a variable speed fan takes to reach its full speed Expressions in ITALICS are user parameters Ventilation System Overview This control operates 2 variable speed stages 2 ON OFF ventilation stages 2 heating stages 1 cooling stage All of these stages are controlled by the inside temperature probe Refer to the wiring diagram in attachment for a typical installation 41 02 3 Page 2 of 9 12 30 2008 2 LOGIC DESCRIPTION 2 1 Heating 2 Stages Those outputs are activated when the temperature decreases to their HEATER 1 or 2 RSP The DIFF tells the control when to shut it off after the room has warmed up Ex Say DRT 70 F HEATER 1 RSP 2 F and the DIFF 1 F then the heater turns on at 68 F and shuts off at 69 F 2 2 Fan 1 Variable ventilation stage Below the DRT it runs on a timer at MIN SPEED Ex Ifthe FAN 1 TIMER PERIOD min is adjusted to 5 minutes and the RUN TIME is set to 40 then the fan will cycle on 2 minute and off 3 minutes Fan 1 accelerates from the DRT to the end of i

5. when to shut off the fan after the room has cooled down 2 5 Cooling Stage 1 ON OFF stage This cooling stage will be activated on an adjustable timer at its relative set point called COOLING RSP Ex If the temperature is above the COOLING RSP and the TIMER PERIOD min is adjusted to 20 minutes and the RUN TIME is set to 5 then the cooling stage will cycle ON 1 minute and OFF 19 minutes The differential for this stage is fixed at 2 F 2 6 Manual override Each output can be controlled manually with the MANUAL OVERRIDE parameter See section 3 for more details on how to use the MANUAL OVERRIDE parameter 41 02 3 Page 3 of 9 12 30 2008 2 7 Alarm The alarm relay is normally activated but it will deactivate 8 sec after a power failure or after one of the following events the IC 410ND fails the room temperature exceeds the limits ALARM RSP HI or LO TEMP the room temperature probe vary more than 10 F in 1 minute he room temperature probe is defective short or open circuit aoe 3 HOW TO USE PARAMETERS 19 USING THE MULTIPLE LISTING PROCEDURE The user must select first the main parameter shown on the faceplate of IC 410ND with the arrow buttons After this selection the control will indicate a number meaning that it is in the multiple list mode The user must then choose the number of the parameter shown on the parameter table by way of the and buttons Once on the correct number the user needs
