21. 6 Function Packet Editor IBS G 1 Function Packet Editor IBS G 1 1 Overview In addition to the basic functions Documenting and Configuring the function packet editor also permits an on line connection to SIMADYN D to be generated through which direct access to the running processor programs can be made During the commissioning phase or for service purposes itis therefore possible to display current values from the function drawings in SIMADYN D as well as implementing small on line configuring modifications These on line functions are collected together in the basic function IBS G of the function packet editor Warning Improper Operation ofthe Function Packet Editor in the IBS G Mode can cause Accidents Including Damage to Persons or Property 1 1 1 IBS G Mode Tasks The following on line functions are currently supported Cyclically display connector values Modify constant input values temporary or permanent Delete connections temporary or permanent Create connections temporary or permanent Insert and copy temporary D Delete function blocks temporary A temporary modification will be lostata subsequentrack reset A permanentmodification is however saved in non volatile memory such that it remains active after a restart J UU UO OO Remark Permanent modifications with the function packet editor have the advantage that the configured system and SIMADYN D remain at the same
