19. are some concepts that must be understood and questions that need to be answered before you start the commissioning of a project with animeo IP Commissioning the act of creating the Configuration The process of setting up and finding hardware such as Motors and Sensors defining the system as a whole is making the Commissioning During this process the structure of the system Configuration is defined Most of the Commissioning is made via Wizards in the animeo IP software Afterwards the Commissioning the structure of the system needs to be filled with functionality and bindings We simply call this Configuration The auto discovery feature The animeo IP system can auto discover components that are connected to the system This feature will make the commissioning much quicker The following components can be discovered Somfy RS485 motors The discovery process will detect all units and thereafter the position of the motors will be detected by the patented state minimization method This method will create facades where the motors are located The detection of motors can be done from outside or inside floor by floor or even room by room Afterwards the different parts of a facade can be merged into one big facade by dragging the different parts on top or side of each other Sensors The different sensor boxes Outside sensor box Inside sensor box and Compact sensor will be discovered automatically In a wizard the user can select which inpu
