BLUETOOTH WIRELESS STEREO SPEAKERS USER MANUAL SMPS 622 Bluetooth PLEASE READ THIS USER MANUAL COMPLETELY BEFORE OPERATING THIS UNIT AND RETAIN THIS BOOKLET FOR FUTURE REFERENCE DEAR JENSEN CUSTOMER Selecting fine audio equipment such as the unit you ve just purchased is only the start of your musical enjoyment Now it s time to consider how you can maximize the fun and excitement your equipment offers This manufacturer and the Electronic Industries Association s Consumer Electronics Group want you to get the most out of your equipment by playing it at a safe level One that lets the sound come through loud and clear without annoying blaring or distortion and most importantly without affecting your sensitive hearing Sound can be deceiving Over time your hearing comfort level adapts to higher volumes of sound So what sounds normal can actually be loud and harmful to your hearing Guard against this by setting your equipment at a safe level BEFORE your hearing adapts To establish a safe level Start your volume control at a low setting Slowly increase the sound until you can hear it comfortably and clearly and without distortion Once you have established a comfortable sound level Set the dial and leave it there Taking a minute to do this now will help to prevent hearing damage or loss in the future After all we want you listening for a lifetime We Want You Listening For a Lifetime Used wisely

8. art playback music in your cell phone or Bluetooth device If music has not been started playback please go to music libary of your bluetooth device and start it manually 4 Press the 1 amp button to pause or resume playback 5 Press the VOLUME button to adjust your desired volume level 6 Always slide the Power switch to the OFF position when not in use to prevent draining the internal battery Using the SMPS 622 as a Hands Free Bluetooth Speakerphone 1 Link your cell phone to the SMPS 622 via Bluetooth as described above 2 When receiving an incoming call on your cell phone tap the 5 button on the SMPS 622 to switch an incoming call from cell phone to the SMPS 622 A short beep sound will be heard confirming the call was answered Complete your call using the built in microphone and speaker of the SMPS 622 3 Press the VOLUME UP DOWN buttons on the SMPS 622 to adjust the volume to your desired sound level 9 4 To end the call press and hold the button A short beep sound will be heard and the call will end If you were streaming music from your cell phone to the SMPS 622 the music will automatically resume streaming to the SMPS 622 5 To reject an income call simply press and hold the S button on the SMPS 622 for about 2 seconds a long beep sound will be heard Redialing the last number with the SMPS 622 The SMPS 622 will automatically redial the last number you dialed by press and hold the SMPS 622
9. button Hang up with the SMPS 622 Press and hold the button will end the call in progress A short beep tone will be heard from the SMPS 622 confirming the call ended Re linking to the cell phone If your cell phone is already paired with the SMPS 622 but became unlinked even with both Bluetooth devices turned on You can re link them by 1 Switching the Power to the OFF position and then back to the ON position wait for 10 seconds the blue backlight LED will flash fast and re link your cell phone automatically The blue backlight LED will change to flashing slow and a short beep will be heard if the SMPS 622 and your cell phone have been re linked successfully 2 You can also re link the SMPS 622 by using Bluetooth operation of your cell phone Please refer to operation manual of your cell phone for more information AUXILIARY INPUT This unit provides an auxiliary audio signal input jack for connecting external audio devices like MP3 players CD players and listen to your external source through the speakers of this system 1 Use an audio cable not included with one 3 5 mm stereo plug on each end of the cable The SMPS 622 will switch mode to AUX mode automatically and the N Button indicator will light red 2 Plug one end into the Aux in jack on the main unit and the other end of the cable into the Line out Jack or Headphone Jack of your external audio device Turn on the external audio device 4 The volume level can

12. etooth settings Once the SMPS 622 connection is deleted from the Devices list you will 8 need to go through above paring steps again to reconnect to the SMPS 622 6 To turn off the SMPS 622 Bluetooth switch the Power switch to the OFF position all backlight LEDs go off Don t forget to also turn off the Bluetooth feature on your device 7 Always slide the Power switch to the OFF position when not in use to prevent draining the internal battery Notes 1 Refer to manual of your cell phones iPad computer or other Bluetooth enabled device for Bluetooth operation since it may vary from model to model 2 SMPS 622 will enter standby mode if pairing is unsuccessful within 5 minutes blue LED backlight will change to very flashing slow 3 Your Bluetooth enabled device will not play the music through the speaker even it can be connected if the device does not support A2DP 4 Do not plug in the Audio jack when the Bluetooth is in operation 5 If you are pairing linking your computer to the SMPS 622 using Bluetooth you may need to set the SMPS 622 as your computer s default sound device PLAYBACK MUSIC ON YOUR BLUETOOTH DEVICE _ 1 Slide the Power switch to the ON position 2 Turn on Bluetooth of your cell phone or device which has been successful pairing with SMPS 622 before the unit can connect the latest device automatically 3 After the Bluetooth device is paired with the SMPS 622 press the PlI button to st
13. l be flashing fast The SMPS 622 is ready to pair link with your Bluetooth device 2 Turn on the Bluetooth feature of your cell phone and enable the search or scan feature to find the SMPS 622 3 Select SMPS 622 from the device list when it appears on your screen If required enter the pass code 0000 to pair link the SMPS 622 with your cell phone A beep sound will be heard if paring succesful and blue LED backlight will begin flashing slow 4 After successfully pairing linking your cell phone with the SMPS 622 you can play music from your cell phone wirelessly to the SMPS 622 5 If you want to connect the SMPS 622 to another cell phone after pairing successfully press and hold for 2 seconds the Blue LED backlight will change to flashing fast repeat step 2 4 above Note 1 The SMPS 622 may automatically reconnected to a previously linked device that is in range so you may need to turn off the Bluetooth on any paired device first before going through the above steps 2 If you press and hold the l l f Button for 10 seconds it will automatically clear all the saved Bluetooth connections in the SMPS 622 and create a new pairing mode set up NOTE to iPhone iPod iPad users If you are using an iPhone iPod or iPad and you clear all the Bluetooth connections stored in the SMPS 622 you may need to delete Forget this Device the previous connection with the SMPS 622 located in the Devices list under Blu
