23. sponds of about 10 MByte second Image file is about 13 5 MBytes so you have to wait about 1 5 seconds to load an image even if you are using a very fast computer Animation Animation creation with 24 hours HRIT images could be longer than you would have expected Consider that there must be transferred 96 files of 13 5 MBytes dimension for a total of 1296 MBytes with a theo retical time of 130 seconds Afterwards the program must crop the zone add the color mask coastline etc There fore the time for the total operation will be about 200 seconds The total time is inferior than theoretical time thanks to algorithms which do not transfer every file completely but only a part of it just the part that it is needed to crop the zone to animate Fontana Roberto Software
