16. e default ISP connection Installing and Configuring SVClient S60 21 SerVision SVClient S60 v3 User Guide Configuring Connection Settings Before using SVClient S60 to connect to a video gateway you have to enter the following information The public IP address or host name of the video gateway unit The port number of the unit The user name and password required for accessing the unit through a client application SVClient S60 can connect to SerVision video gateways directly or through a proxy server If you will be connecting through a proxy server the proxy settings you enter here must match those that are defined in the unit s configuration For additional information please refer to the unit s configuration guide You will need to know the following information in order to configure a proxy connection The name by which the unit is registered on the proxy server For SVG and IVG units this is the name of the unit as it appears in the configuration For HVG units this is configured in the proxy settings of the unit The hostname or IP address of the proxy server If you are using the SerVision proxy service SVClient S60 fills this in automatically The port through which SVClient S60 must connect to the proxy server If you are using the SerVision proxy service SVClhient S60 fills this in automatically Installing and Configuring SVClient S60 22 SerVision SVClient S60 v3 User Guide To conf

21. ion 9 1 3 edition PC In order to install the software you will need a PC as well as the cellular phone In order to interact with the cellular phone at least one of the following conditions must be met Synchronization software Recommended The PC must have synchronization software installed on it that allows it to interact with the phone This software makes it possible for you to install additional software such as SVClient S60 onto the cellular phone either via cable or via Bluetooth It is usually supplied along with the phone or available for download from the internet For example if you are using a Nokia S60 device the required software is called Nokia PC Suite and is available for download from the Nokia website http www nokia com Bluetooth support Both the cellular phone and the PC have Bluetooth support so that files can be sent from the PC to the cellular phone wirelessly This method is only recommended for advanced users 3 Internet access Make sure you have internet access from your PC and from the cellular phone 4 Connection information Obtain the following information from your video gateway administrator SerVision Introduction SVClient S60 v3 User Guide The method to use to connect to the video gateway unit via a direct connection or via a proxy server The required IP address or host name and port number for connecting to each video gateway unit The user na
