3. lamp D 6 Connect the new lamp to the ceramic plug making sure that you use a lamp ofthe same specification as to that which was removed Also make sure not to touch the front of the lamp 7 Slide the lamp back into its holder 8 Close the lamp access hatch and secure with the retaining screw Note In the 100W version of the Aurora the lamp holder will only accept a 64637 GZ6 35 100W lamp 7 Aurora Light Source Range MAINTENANCE Continued FUSE REPLACEMENT 1 Unplug unit from electrical supply and allow to cool 2 The fuse holder A is located under the mains power input socket 3 Using a small screwdriver carefully insert it into the slot on the top of the fuse holder B and prise outwards 4 The fuse can now be unclipped from its holder and replaced A spare is provided inside the storage compartment at the rear of the holder 5 Slide the fuse holder back into its slot until it clicks into place 1 Unplug unit from electrical supply and allow to cool 2 Remove the single screw A which secures the unit s access hatch 3 Open the access hatch and you will see the colourwheel mounting rod is secured with two screws through a brass bush B 4 Remove the screws and carefully pull the rod towards the front of the light source Remove the colourwheel and rod from the light source eg 5 Close and secure the access hatch IMPORTANT A maintenance record table i

8. light source and it will start up automatically Light will be output from the port connector and out through the fibre harness Power cable If no light is produced please consult the TROUBLESHOOTING section in this manual On models with the optional dimmer control the light output intensity can be varied by turning the dimmer control knob COLOURWHEEL TWINKLE WHEEL CONTROL Decorative models of the Aurora are available with a number of different colourwheel control options The control system available will depend on the exact model specified Continuous rotation the wheel rotates continuously and cannot be stopped White light only output is available by removing the wheel as detailed on page 8 of this manual Separate feed the wheel is controlled by a secondary mains electrical feed It can be started and stopped on any colour by simply switching the power off Switch control the wheel can be started and stopped by using a switch built into the back of the unit Universal Fibre Optics e MAINTENANCE LAMP REPLACEMENT 1 Unplug unit from electrical supply and allow to cool 2 Remove the single screw A which secures the unit s lamp access hatch 3 Open the lamp access hatch and you will see the lamp sitting in its holder and attached to a ceramic plug B 4 With the lamp still attached to the ceramic plug pull it upwards and out of its holder C 5 Pull the ceramic plug from the end of the old
