1. SPACER INSERTS INCLUDED 2 Reuse the original OEM screws to reattach the Drainsafe DS 9X9 adapter to the original frame Be certain the holes are clean and free from debris prior to reinserting OEM screws NOTE This Adapter is not to be used on a multiple framed 9X9 inch sumps ie 18X18 framed Installation instructions Hayward frame NOTE It is important to install the 1 4 inch spacer inserts on to the Hayward SP 1031 frame prior to the installation of the Drainsafe DS 9X9 adapter 1 With a dab of medium based PVC glue place one 1 4 strip on the SP1031 frame with holes aligned and press into place Be sure to install the Drainsafe DS 9X9 with the 3 holed ends over the 2 pre drilled holes in the SP1031 Frame 2 Ifthe existing frame holes are damaged due to overuse or incorrect mounting of previous covers turn the Drainsafe DS 9X9 90 degrees and pre drill two new holes at each side and secure Drainsafe DS 9X9 in new holes following 1 4 strip install above hole dimentions 1 16 diameter and 1 4 deep Do not drill hole depth or diameter gt Upon final installation of Drainsafe DS 9X9 be certain to confirm the adapter is fastened to the existing sump frame as well as the sump frame is secured to the existing sump gt If any parts of the Drainsafe DS 9X9 or Drainsafe DS 360 X are damaged replace them immediately gt Only use this product with the Drainsafe DS 360 X Anti Entrapment cover Failu2. installed as per manufacturer s instructions This warranty is void and shall not apply if the Drainsafe DS 360 X has been altered or installed with other products outside of New Water Solutions Inc manufacturing This product is warranted for a period of 3 years from date of installation Use supplied hardware or equivalent New Water Solutions Inc will not be held liable or responsible for costs damages or loss resulting directly or indirectly from the use of this product Drainsafe DS 360 X based on warranty contract negligence or strict liability This part was installed on pool spa Location Flow Rate of System G P M Date Installer Company Drainsafe DS 360 X Anti Entrapment Type Submerged Suction Outlet Cover Manufactured by New Water Solutions Inc 4400 Charlotte Street Unit J Lake Worth FI 33461 Any questions or suggestions Phone 1 800 513 4372 Email info newwatersolutions com www drainsafe com Updated 6 01 2014 www newwatersolutions com OR m T m aati
