25. two 2 and set the read write period COMMREQ words 10 and 11 to be very large for example 60 seconds With these parameters the ladder program will issue the first COMMREQ wait for the COMMREQ Status CRS word to turn to 1 then issue the next COMMREQ wait for the CRS word to turn to 1 and so forth By interrupting an active channel in this way you allow the reuse of an existing TCP connection while a repetition count of 1 started the time consuming TCP connection teardown immediately Important Product Information 7 GFK 1005G LIS Word Bits May Go To Zero With Fast PLC Scans If your natural scan rate as observed by the IC641 programming software status line is less than five 5 milliseconds you may observe the LAN Interface Status LIS bits occasionally transitioning to zero 0 If this is occurring first write a maximum scan time trap into your ladder application to determine the maximum scan time for your application to work around this problem set a constant sweep time to 10 milliseconds or to twice your maximum scan time whichever is greater Determining your maximum scan time is important If you set a constant sweep time that is at or below your maximum scan time and the actual scan time exceeds the constant sweep time the PLC CPU will lock out all requests from other modules in the rack including the Ethernet Interface Once this occurs the only way to reset the PLC CPU is to make it transition from RUN mode to STOP
26. xtra lt CR gt Network Station Manager has fewer display lines than Local GSM cannot coexist with Pathways ID Code 12132 12810 12882 12900 13021 23093 25568 Description SSS If the GSM local downloader is started before the LAN Controller requests a load and the LAN Controller is reset there may be a lengthy delay after the LAN Controller startup cycle before the GSM actually initiates the next local download The GEFNDIS LLC Driver does not generate an XID Response frame when an XID frame is received IEEE 802 3 networks only When the GSM is exited via C Ctrl C the GEFNDIS driver may be unable to activate LSAP upon subsequent start up The PC must be rebooted to recover This problem does not occur if the GSM is exited normally via the lt Esc gt key or main menu selection If the GSM downloader encounters repeated errors when sending a frame to the network the GSM will indicate a Data Link Error code 7 and halt network download Must exit to DOS and restart the GSM to recover The chsosw Station Manager command when used with the rem REMote command does not display its output until the next carriage return lt CR gt This can cause the command output to become garbled with the output of the next remote Station Manager command See related PROM EPR 22184 above The Network Station Manager screen accommodates only 21 lines instead of 22 lines like the Local Station Manager screen Thus a
