32. r Mapping is very straightforward it simply allocates a continuous block of 64 2 Wire outputs and corresponding inputs so there is a 1 1 correlation to the NMC outputs and inputs Eg If you are using the first 32 RTUs Address Offset 0 then NMC 64 PRO address 1 two wire Unit 1 port 1 NMC 64 PRO address 2 two wire Unit 1 port 2 NMC 64 PRO address 3 two wire Unit 2 port 1 NMC 64 PRO address 4 two wire Unit 2 port 2 NMC 64 PRO address 5 two wire Unit 3 port 1 etc You can map to a different set of two wire RTUs by using the Address Offset a value of 2 moves the NMC 64 PRO up by 1 RTU 2 outputs NMC 64 PRO 1 Unit 2 port 1 We recommend you don t use an odd numbered Address Offset for the NMC 64 since the 64 NMC addresses will then map across 33 RTUs only using half of the first and last RTUs Use Address Offset 0 for the NMC PRO otherwise you will not be able to use all the NMC outputs There is also merit In setting the Address Offset ID of first two wire Unit 1 2 because NMC address 1 will then correspond with the first two wire port however if you later add two wire units with lower IDs you will have to change the Address Offset which will then require reprogramming the Host NMC 64 PRO Non Linear Address Mapping Use Non Linear Mapping is used to enable more flexibility or if you would like NMC 64 PRO outputs to be able to control more than one two wire output each This is also a very u
