4. light feature programmable When this feature is turned on the indicators stay on constantly for 20 seconds on disarm or until the ignition is switched on Dome light extension programmable The interior light comes on constantly when the system is disarmed via remote The light stays on for 15 seconds or until the ignition is switched on The interior light also comes on automatically when the ignition is switched off The light stays on for 15 seconds or until the system is armed by remote or the ignition is turned on again NOTE If you activate the automatic re arm and re lock feature this feature will be disabled Door lock on ignition programmable This feature will automatically lock the doors when the ignition is turned on and unlock the doors when the ignition is turned off NOTE This feature can only be programmed if central door locking is connected PIN override This feature enables you to disarm the immobiliser if the remotes are inoperable The PIN code can be any two numbers between 3 and 255 There are 63000 possible code combinations The PIN is factory set to 3 4 but can be changed to your requirements See How to change your PIN code overleaf To enter override mode and disarm the immobiliser 1 Open the drivers door and leave it open If a siren is fitted it will sound 2 Turn the ignition on then off an equal number of times to the first PIN code digit This is a number between 3 and 255 3 Wa

6. ton 3 Immediately press and hold the top button on the new remote for at least 4 seconds 4 Turn the ignition off The new remote is now coded in Battery Backup Siren optional upgrade The AVS 4601 can be fitted with an optional battery backup siren This siren has a built in battery which keeps itself charged from the vehicle s power source If the wires to the siren are cut or the car battery disconnected by a car thief the siren will continue to sound The battery backup siren is supplied with two keys for the key switch on the top of the siren If you need to disconnect your vehicle s battery the siren will need to be turned off with the key switch Remember to turn it back on when the battery is reconnected Interior Piezo Siren optional upgrade An internal piezo siren can be fitted in the cabin of the vehicle to deter thieves from entering the vehicle when the alarm is triggered WARNING DO NOT LEAVE ANIMALS OR CHILDREN IN THE VEHICLE IF THIS OPTION IS FITTED Shock Sensor optional upgrade A shock sensor will detect shocks to the vehicle such as a window impact The shock sensor is not designed to detect the car being rocked or the tyre being kicked Ultrasonic Motion Sensor optional upgrade Ultrasonic motion sensors detect air movement inside the vehicle If a window is broken or the sensor detects any movement inside the car the alarm will be triggered NOTE As an ultrasonic sensor detects air movement be sure
7. ystem is disarmed and a door is not opened within 60 seconds the system will re arm and if central door locking is connected re lock the doors NOTE The immobiliser will auto immobilise after 38 seconds then at the 60 second mark will fully arm and if central door locking is connected lock the doors Door ajar warning programmable If the vehicle s doors are not properly closed when you try to activate the immobiliser system the indicators will flash for three seconds to alert you that the vehicle is not secure Panic car finder Press and hold the top button on the remote for three seconds The indicators start to flash and if fitted the siren will sound To cancel panic push the top button for one second The panic feature will not work when the ignition is switched on Boot release output optional connection by installer at extra cost Press the bottom button for three seconds The immobiliser will remain armed the negative i e boot and door circuit will be temporarily disabled until both the doors and boot are closed again For safety reasons the boot release will not work with the ignition on Timed headlight delay feature optional connection by installer at extra cost This optional feature turns the headlights on for 15 seconds lighting your path when the immobiliser is armed by remote The headlights can be turned off before the 15 second period by pressing the bottom button on the remote Perimeter night
