BATTERY HANDLING INFORMATION The correct usage and handling of batteries can preserve the lifetime of your phone and ensure proper operation Operating times are subject to the usage and configuration of your handset please see the label on your battery for your battery s capacity Follow these suggestions carefully Chapter 1 Before using your phone BATTERY USAGE DOs e Only use the battery and charger approved by the manufacturer Only use the battery for its original purpose Try to keep the battery in a temperature range of 41 F 5 C to 95 F 35 C Otherwise it could significantly reduce the capacity and lifetime of the battery If the battery is stored in temperatures above or below the recommended range give it time to warm up or cool down before using it Completely drain the battery before recharging It may take one to four days to completely drain Store the discharged battery in a cool dark and dry place Purchase a new battery when its operating time gradually decreases after fully charging Dispose of and recycle used batteries in accordance with local regulations DON Ts Don t use a damaged battery or charger e Don t attempt to disassemble the battery it is a sealed unit with no serviceable parts Don t accidentally short circuit the battery by carrying it in your pocket or purse with other metallic objects such as coins clips and pens This may critical

16. gt Insert Wait The letter w appears where the manual pause will occur in the dialing sequence 6 Press Done NOTE To resume dialing after reaching a manual pause press O Chapter 2 Basic operation CALL FUNCTIONS INSERT A THREE SECOND PAUSE IN A DIALING SEQUENCE There may be occasions when you wish to pause dialing after you ve selected a contact to call You can insert a three second pause between selecting a contact to call and when the phone actually dials 1 On the home screen press Contacts 2 Press the contact in whose phone number you want to insert pause Select the phone number and press Menu gt Edit 4 Place the cursor where you want to insert the pause 6 Press Menu gt Insert Pause The letter p appears where the three second pause will occur in the dialing sequence 6 Press Done Chapter 2 Basic operation VIDEO SHARE The Video Share feature allows you to share live or recorded video during a voice call Video Share is not available in all markets Both devices must be in a 3G service area a 3G icon must appear by the signal bars prior to a call being placed Both devices must remain in the 3G coverage area for the duration of the Video Share You can initiate or receive live and recorded video use the following steps 1 Dial the number and press the send key 2 Once the call is connected and both devices are capable of Video Share

19. 184 VOICE COMMANDER Voice Commander is a Speech Dialog System that provides natural human interface for users to communicate seamlessly with mobile devices Through Voice Commander users can make phone calls look up contact info launch program or check for calendars It contains the following features e Eyes free voice command amp control Speaker Independent speech recognition technology no training is required Ease of use conversational UI e Cross Language Adaptation and Digit Model Adaptation to enhance the usability GETTING STARTED You can find Voice Commander in the Start gt All Programs gt More gt Applications gt More Voice Commander main program that does voice name dialing show contact and start applications Voice Commander Settings The configuration program that helps you to customize commands and helps you to personalize the digit model by adaptation You can find Voice Commander Settings in the Menu gt Settings FEATURES 1 Voice Name Dialing e You can use Voice Commander to execute name dialing e Usage Call lt Contact gt at lt Home Work Mobile gt Example gt Call Michasel Archer Call Mary Smith at home NOTE Voice Commander will automatically maintain a maximum of 2000 contacts in the recognition database To change this setting refer to Contacts Setting Page If the command can not be recognized Voice Commander will prompt
