TECHNOLOGIES Bite Counter User Manual For Technical Support Please Contact Bite Technologies Support support icountbites com 864 643 9424 About This Manual The Bite Counter is intended to be used by professionals and this manual is written to help those professionals This manual is broken into three parts The first part explains instructions for the research participant or the end user of the Bite Counter who is being overseen by the professional The second part describes instructions for the experimenter or professional who is overseeing the use ofthe Bite Counter The final section ofthe manual describes the Bite Counter application software and how to configure the Bite Counter for vatious research paradigms or feedback programs and download data from the device using the software Warning THE DEVICE IS NOT WATER PROOF OR WATER RESISTANT Participant Instructions for Using the Bite Counter 1 Place the Bite Counter on your wristand adjust the tightness using the Velero or leather band 2 The default mode for the Bite Counter Is Time mode The display will show the time with an arrow to the left of the screen to indicate PM when appropriate 3 Once you have prepared all af your food and you are ready to take your first bite press the left button ance A seties of sounds will indicate thatthe device has tumed on As the device turns on it calibrates the sensor During calibration It is Important t
