NOTE The AccuSoft License Manager manages both ImageGear for UNIX MAC and ImageGear for Java licenses The ImageGear for Java license is cross platform which means there will be a single evaluation license for all platforms Windows UNIX and MAC How to Run the AccuSoft License Manager The AccuSoft License Manager starts automatically when the installation of lmageGear on your system is finished You can also run it at any time from lmageGear installation directory AccuSoft ImageGear14 Professional Utils AccuSoftLicenseClient NOTE The AccuSoft License Manager requires JRE 1 3 be installed on the system This product includes code licensed from RSA Data Security How to Run the AccuSoft License Manager AccuSoft License Manager UNIX MAC e 1 AccuSoft License Manager Entry Screen This is the Entry screen of the AccuSoft License Manager utility accuse License manager O O O OOO 2151 Please select the type of license you wish to obtain gt ImageGear development license ImageGear evaluation license To begin managing your AccuSoft product license 1 Select the type of license you want to obtain ImageGear evaluation license or ImageGear development license 2 Click the Next button to manage the selected type of license 3 Depending on the type of license you selected you will proceed to the screens for managing either your IlmageGear Evaluation or Development License 4 Click the Cancel button if you
3. button if you would like to submit a request for a new Key or click Cancel to exit You can choose the following m Click the Next button if you would like to submit a request for a new license key AccuSoft will reply to you with an e mail shortly after that a Click the Cancel button to exit AccuSoft License Manager If the AccuSoft License Manager can t communicate with the AccuSoft licensing Web Service due to a lack of Internet access or other various restrictions of the internet connection you will get the following screen coix Your AIX evaluation license has expired but the AccuSoft License Manager couldnt communicate with the licensing Web Service Va To send an evaluation extension request by email please click the button on the left Please click Next to enter the manual key you obtained from the AccuSoft web site Please do the following AccuSoft License Manager Entry Screen AccuSoft License Manager UNIX MAC e 7 1 Click on the Send an Evaluation Extension Request button if you would like to submit a request for a new key AccuSoft Customer Support will process it and either grant or deny it You will recieve an e mail with either a manual key attached if the request has been approved or with an explanation of why it was rejected 2 If you have received an e mail with the manual key attached please copy it to the clipboard 3 Click the Next button to proceed to the

Evaluation License Paste Screen NOTE Ifthe AccuSoft License Manager can t send an e mail automatically you can still send it manually to AccuSoft The details on how to proceed are provided Managing ImageGear Development Licenses If you have chosen the Development license option on the AccuSoft License Manager Entry Screen then the process of managing your ImageGear development license begins and you proceed to the Development Login Screen Development Login Screen 2101 Please enter your login information E Mail sadams patriots com Password m k a rr 4 AGEGE AVL VL Lice Manager came nea as Please do the following 1 Enter the e mail address and password you obtained on the AccuSoft s web site when requesting an evaluation version of the product If you didn t evaluate ImageGear then enter the e mail and password you used when you purchased the product 2 Click the Next button to proceed 8e AccuSoft License Manager UNIX MAC Managing ImageGear Development Licenses If you enter invalid credentials the utility will prompt you to try entering them again m If the AccuSoft License Manager can t communicate with the licensing Web Service at AccuSoft due to a lack of Internet access or other various restrictions of the internet connection you will proceed to the Development License Registration Screen f your credentials are correct you will proceed to the Development Access Key Selection S
6. creen Development Access Key Selection Screen This screen is used for selecting your Access Key to obtain a development license key for your system lolx Please select the developer license you wish to obtain Product ImageGear w13 Linux Solaris HP UX AIX Access Key NATWW 46713 C5SKN N88S CTY eae Hea cot Please do the following 1 Select an Access Key from the dropdown list The product name and platform corresponding to the selected Access Key will be shown 2 Click the Next button to proceed The application will automatically obtain the license required hardware parameters from your machine It will then communicate with AccuSoft s licensing Web Service to obtain a development license key based on the selected access key and hardware parameters If this is successful you will proceed to the Development License Key Obtained Screen There is a limit on the number of computers you can use with the same ImageGear development license the default is 5 If you are trying to associate the same access key with more than the allowed number of computers you will be presented with the Hardware Parameters Limit Exceeded Screen If AccuSoft has granted you the permission to unregister hardware parameters from your license you will be presented with the Hardware Parameters Limit Exceeded Screen Managing ImageGear Development Licenses AccuSoft License Manager UNIX MAC e9 3 Click the Cancel button if you wa
7. e Please do the following 1 Click the Paste button to paste the development license key manual key from the clipboard into the screen s text box 2 Click the Next button to proceed to the Development License Key Obtained Screen Hardware Parameters Limit Exceeded Screen coix Your access key has been registered with 2 different hardware IDs This problem can occur if you installed ImageGear on more than 2 systems or if you Changed your hardware on any of these systems Please contact AccuSoft Customer Support If you get this screen then your Access Key is registered with as many different hardware parameters as your license allows This problem can occur if you installed the ImageGear on more development systems than your license allows or if you changed hardware on any of these systems Managing ImageGear Development Licenses AccuSoft License Manager UNIX MAC e 11 Please contact AccuSoft s Customer Support Department by logging into the online support center to resolve this problem You can choose to do the following m Click the Next button to contact the AccuSoft Customer Support Department or a Click the Finish button to exit the utility Development License Key Obtained Screen If you get this screen it means you have successfully obtained your development license x Your development license key for ImageGear v13 Linux Solaris HP UX AIX has been successfully obtained Click Back t
