1. Turning the unit ON or OFF at any time or adjusting the timer setting to 0 0 will cancel the Auto Start Stop timed program When the malfunction E1 or E2 occurs the Auto Start Stop timed program will also be cancelled FOLLOW ME operation on some models This feature can be activated from the remote control ONLY The remote control serves as aremote thermostat allowing for the precise temperature control at its location To activate the Follow Me feature point the remote control towards the unit and press the Follow Me button The light on the unit control panel will illuminate to indicate it received the signal t will continue to send this signal until the feature is deactivated by pressing the Follow Me button again If the unit does not receive the Follow Me signal during any 7 minutes interval the unit will beep to indicate the Follow Me mode has en ded The display on the remote control indicates the temperature at the remote ONLY Swings automatically Fig 4 OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS ION operation on some models This feature can be activated from the remote control too To activate the ION operation the anion generator is energized and will help to remove pollen and impurities from the air SLEEP operation Press this button the set temperature will increase cooling or decrease heating by 1 C 2 F in 30 minutes The set temperature will then increase cooling or decrease heating by anot
