How to create a mould and small stick 1 Select a used shader unit with the same pitch as the LED module 2 Cut a mould and small stick out of the shader The mould should have a shape like a comb The spikes of the comb must be separated by the smallest side of the rectangle TE CEC Small side of rectangle Image 7 4 3 Remove the burr and sharpen the points of the spikes by using a small smooth cut file 4 Try out the mould and the stick on the LED board Do not use to much strength to lock the mould with the stick but make the point of the stick thinner with a small file if necessary R5976865 ILITE 6 8 10 12 DISPLAY 08 02 2005 7 Maintenance 7 6 Replacing a bad LED Preparation First thing that needs to be done is to identify and marking the bad LED s while the ILite tile is operating Than the LED module with the bad LED has to be disassembled from the tile and the mask removed om Never swap a LED module or LED driver or controller from an ILite tile because measurement results of the LED module are stored on the LED driver and controller So these boards are matched to each other during the factory measurement process Even a swap among the LED modules or LED drivers of the same tile is not allowed Neglecting this will result in poor video images displayed on the LED wall The swapped LED modules or LED drivers will become visible as quadrants with different light output Always return the complete ILite
