Club Car LLC Post Office Box 204658 Augusta Georgia 30917 4658 706 863 3000 URGENT SAFETY RECALL TO Authorized Club Car Golf and Utility Vehicle Dealers Distributors Branch Offices Regional Managers and Factory Direct Sales Associates DATE November 15 2013 SUBJECT Precedent Golf Car and Transportation Vehicle Hub Nut Campaign Club Car LLC in cooperation with the U S Consumer Product Safety Commission is notifying all owners and operators of 2013 model year Precedent golf cars and transportation vehicles of a risk of loss of wheel retention in certain units due to improper assembly of the hub retaining nut This problem if not corrected could lead to a loss of steering posing a potential crash hazard Club Car is recalling certain potentially affected 2013 model year vehicles Club Car has dispatched field teams with specialized equipment to inspect hub assemblies for proper torque The teams will replace any non conforming front hub assemblies Dealers must STOP SALE on all affected units until inspected by a Club Car team or the spindle assemblies are replaced per the field Campaign Enclosed is a copy of the letter distributed to customers That letter provides customers who purchased affected vehicles with a listing of the Club Car models and serial numbers affected A list of all affected vehicles can be accessed on the Safety Info page of Club Car Pavilion This list shows all customers involved sorted by state
