4. en 32 7 OPERATION 7 1 DAILY INSPECTION Make sure that the Engine and exhaust are cold Do not check with a warm engine Engage the parking brake and make sure the cutting cylinders are stopped 1 Check the complete unit Look for worn or loose hardware missing or damaged components fuel or oil leaks Make sure the hose connections are tight and all lines are in good condition 2 Check the fuel supply crankcase oil level and air cleaner All fluids must be at the full mark with the engine cold 3 Set the cutting unit to the needed height of cut 4 Test the Operator Presence And Safety Interlock System en 33 7 2 OPERATION OPERATOR PRESENCE AND SAFETY INTERLOCK SYSTEM The OPC system controls the primary drive clutch You can start the engine but the drive will not engage until the OPC system is in operation See 6 1 The machine will not drive until the OPC is engaged To engage the Cutting cylinder operate the lever F See 6 5 When the OPC hand lever is released the machine will come to a stop the engine will continue to run WARNING Do Not Operate the equipment with the O P S disengaged or if the O P S fails any of the safety tests Do Not disconnect or by pass any switch Test the OPC system If the test fails stop the test and inspect the system Start the engine Do not operate the OPC The machine must not move forward and the cylinder must not rotate Engage the
