Install the electric pump as close as possible to the liquid to be pumped It is necessary to pre arrange enough room for the motor ventilation to check the rotation of the shaft and to fill and empty the pump In case of standing installations it is advisable to fix the electric pump to the base so to avoid vibrations CAUTION NEVER WORK ALONE DURING THE INSTALLATION OF THE PUMP USE ADEQUATE PROTECTION DEVICES 000000 Before connecting the pipes make sure that they are internally clean In standing installations always clamp pipes on their supports as they normally spread vibrations or tend to stretch the pump When sealing the pipes do not tighten them too much on the inlet or outlet of the electric pump as they could damage it Inlet The diameter of the pipes must never be smaller than that of the pump Always use a pipe whose internal diameter is larger than that of the electric pump In case the length of the inlet pipe is longer than 10 meters make sure that inlet pipe is perfectly sealed Install a foot valve at the end of the inlet pipe together with a protective strainer In temporary installation in case of flexible inlet hoses always install at the suction end a reinforcing spring so to avoid a throttling of the hose because of the suction pressure In case the water level is above the pump install a gate valve Outlet in standing installations install a gate valve on the pipe so to adjust flow and head of the elec2. 6. emit del tubo di aspirazione e relativo filtro di protezione Nelle installazioni provvisorie con tubi flessibili montare sempre in aspirazione il tubo con spirale di rinforzo in modo da evitare restringimenti dovuti alla depressione provocata dalla pompa Inserire una saracinesca qualora il livello dell acqua in aspirazione sia sopra la pompa Mandata nelle installazioni fisse per regolare portata e prevalenza della pompa necessaria una saracinesca sulla tubazione Per salvaguardare la pompa da eventuali colpi d ariete si consiglia il montaggio di una valvola di non ritorno Installare un indicatore di pressione manometro per il controllo delle prestazioni della pompa COLLEGAMENTO ELETTRICO Il collegamento elettrico deve essere eseguito da un tecnico qualificato nel rispetto delle prescrizio ni locali seguendo le norme di sicurezza Prima di collegare la pompa assicurarsi che 1 l impianto elettrico sia corrispondente alle norme di sicurezza 2 la frequenza e la tensione di rete corrispondano ai dati di targa Eseguire il collegamento a terra collegando il conduttore di protezione al morsetto contrassegnato con il simbolo Collegare i conduttori di alimentazione ai morsetti secondo quanto indicato nello schema di collegamento Le elettropompe monofasi sono dotate di una protezione termo amperometrica incorporata obbligatorio sia sulle pompe trifasi che monofasi installare una adeguata protezione elettrica interrutto
7. n the flow required is too high that is when the pressure at outlet is lower than the minimum pressure stated on the plate Adjust the gate valve accordingly so to reduce or eliminate noise CAUTION Never run the electric pump for more than 5 minutes if its outlet is closed Running the electric pump too long with no water exchange can produce dangerous increases of temperature and pressure In case the water inside the electric pump is hot because the pump has run with closed outlet always stop the electric pump before opening the discharge valve Before restarting or filling the electric pump wait until it has cooled MAINTENANCE We recommend to check periodically that the electric pump is working correctly pay particular attention to any abnormal noise or vibration and for surface pumps any mechanical seal leakage from the mechanical seal The main and most common special maintenance operations are generally as follows replacement of mechanical seals replacement of grommets replacement of bearings replacement of capacitors When the electric pump is not run for a long period it should be emptied completely by removing the discharge and filling caps washed carefully with clean water then emptied again Do not leave water deposits inside This operation must always be carried out whenever there is a risk of frost and to avoid the breakdown of the pump components ANYWAY EVERY MAINTENANCE OPERATION MUST B

9. re magnetotermico e interruttore differenziale con soglia di intervento 30 mA in grado di assicurare un disinserimento onnipolare dalla rete Lo scostamento massimo ammesso tra l effettiva tensione di alimentazione e il valore nominale indicato sulla targa della elettropompa pari a 5 AVVIAMENTO a Svitare il tappo esagonale sul supporto di aspirazione nel lato opposto alla bocca di mandata b Riempire d acqua la pompa fino alla tracimazione con l ausilio di un imbuto con prolunga flessibile c Riavvitare il tappo esagonale fino a bloccarlo per impedire infiltrazioni d aria d Far funzionare l elettropompa alla massima portata per alcuni minuti REGOLAZIONE DEL FLUSSO D ACQUA L elettropompa pu essere rumorosa quando troppo alto il flusso d acqua richiesto cio con una pressione all uscita inferiore a quella minima indicata in targa Per ridurre o eliminare la rumorosit si deve regolare la saracinesca in mandata ATTENZIONE Non mettere in funzione l elettropompa per pi di cinque minuti con le utenze chiuse Il funzionamento prolungato senza ricambio di acqua comporta pericolosi aumenti di temperatura e pressione Quando l acqua all interno della pompa surriscaldata per il prolungato funzionamento a bocca chiusa arrestare la pompa prima di aprire la saracinesca di utilizzo Attendere il raffreddamento della pompa prima di riavviarla o riempirla MANUTENZIONE Si consiglia solamente di controllar
