14. t Safeguards 1 Read the instruction manual carefully before using the unit and keep it for future consultation 2 The Teddy Neb is a nebulizer for the inhalation of medical aerosols to treat asthma chronic bronchitis and other respiratory tract disorders This nebulizer is suitable for all commonly used inhalation solutions Use only the type amount of medicine approved by your local health Organization indicated by your doctor 3 This nebulizer must be used only for the specific cause it was created for the aerosoltherapy Any other use will be considered unsuitable and thus dangerous the manufacturer cannot be considered responsible for the damages caused by unsuitable incorrect or irrational use or if the unit has been used in electrical installations not in accordance with the standing safety standards 4 The following precautions are especially important The unit is not protected from liquid penetration The nebulizer must not be touched with wet or soaked hands Do not use in extreme weather conditions Do not use the device in presence of inflammable anesthetic mix in contact with the air oxygen or nitrogen protoxide Do not block the air ventilation holes on left right side of the compressor unit Unplug the unit before cleaning or maintaining it Disconnect the nebulizer when it is not in use Do not untwist the jet nebulizer when the unit is operating Do not leave medication inside the jet nebulizer
15. tuirlo por cualquier otro material como el algod n puede da ar el compresor 16 Limpieza y mantenimiento Importante Antes de utilizar el nebulizador por primera vez o despu s de cada uso se deben limpiar sus accesorios de la siguiente forma excepto los tubos lave todos sus accesorios con una soluci n de agua tibia y detergente para vajilla Enjuague con agua tibia del grifo por 30 segundos para quitar el residuo de detergente Usando una olla o recipiente limpio sumerja las piezas en una soluci n de tres partes de agua tibia y una parte de vinagre blanco por 30 minutos o use un desinfectante germicida bacteriano que se puede conseguir en farmacias Con las manos limpias retire las piezas de la soluci n desinfectante enju guelas con agua tibia del grifo y d jelas secar al aire sobre un papel absorbente limpio Gu rdelas en una bolsa herm tica No seque las partes del nebulizador con toalla esto podr a contaminarlas Para limpiar la parte exterior del aparato utilice un pa o seco ADVERTENCIA para evitar un posible riesgo de infecci n debido a un medicamento contaminado se recomienda limpiar sus partes despu s de cada uso No utilice ning n fluido vol til como alcohol o benceno Nebulizar s lo con productos recetados por el m dico y cumplir con sus indicaciones No utilizar sustancias bals micas o aromatizantes pues puede producir deterioro del equipo y o accesorios La ampolla y los accesorios NO deben hervirse
16. ucal d 4 Preparacion del equipo IMPORTANTE No sobrepase los 10 ml de medicaci n Instrucciones de uso 1 Sacar el equipo de la caja 2 Retirar los accesorios 3 Abrir la ampolla nebulizadora Fig A y verter en sta la cantidad de medicamento recomendada sin exceder nunca los 10 ml Fig B luego volver a cerrar enroscando las dos piezas Fig C 4 Conectar un extremo del tubo de aire con la ampolla nebulizadora y el otro extremo con la salida del aparato Fig D 5 Introducir la m scara por utilizar o el pico bucal en la ampolla nebulizadora Fig E 6 Conectar el aparato en un toma de alimentaci n adecuado 7 Para empezar el tratamiento encender el aparato presionando la tecla interruptora 8 Una vez finalizado apagar el aparato y desconectarlo de la red el ctrica 9 Lavar la ampolla nebulizadora y los accesorios seg n se describe en el cap tulo de Limpieza y mantenimiento 10 Guardar la ampolla nebulizadora accesorios y el aparato en su caja Cambio del filtro de aire 1 Se debe cambiar el filtro cada mes o con mayor frecuencia si ste se torna sucio o desgastado 2 Remover la tapa del filtro tom ndola con firmeza y tirando hacia afuera de la unidad 3 Retirar el filtro sucio con un objeto peque o que tenga punta y reemplazarlo por uno nuevo 4 Rearmar presionando la tapa con el nuevo filtro en su lugar Precauci n el volver a usar un filtro sucio o susti
