Apr s la pose du primaire sur le sous plancher optionnel voir l tape 1 d installation marquez le sous plancher selon les instructions de la page 35 et poser le premier c ble chauffant Ne couvrez pas le premier c ble chaufant avec du ruban adh sif ce stade si vous d sirez modifier l g rement les pas de pose par la suite Posez le second c ble sur la zone restante en utilisant les m mes p rim tre et pas de pose que le premier c ble chauffant et testez le second c ble C bles 4 d alimentation Cable chauffant 1 noir Sonde de sol Cable chauffant 2 Joint doit tre au moins 50mm Lors de la pose de plus d un plancher chauffant il est important de garder ces points l esprit 1 Les c bles chauffants ne peuvent se toucher ni se croiser aucun moment 2 Les c bles chauffants sont mont s en parall le seulement au thermostat Ne connectez pas un plancher chauffant en s rie un autre 3 Les pas de pose de tous les c bles chauffants install s sur une surface doivent tre peu pr s gaux 33 Etape d installation 1 Check resistance using multi meter Peindre le plancher avec le primaire Warmup Le primaire est uniquement destin fournir une meilleure adh rence au ruban adh sif utilis pour coller les fils chauffants au sous plancher Si le sol est exempt de poussi re et non poreux l utilisation du primaire pourrait ne

Paint the subfloor with Warmup primer The primer is only intended to provide better adhesion for the tape that is used to stick the heating wires to the subfloor If the floor is dust free and non porous it may not be necessary to use the primer at all Before applying the primer ensure that the floor surface is smooth dry and free from dust or grease If necessary an appropriate smoothing compound should be applied and allowed to cure If the heater is being fitted to a solid floor it is essential that the concrete slab has been allowed to cure before the primer is applied This can take 8 weeks or more If tiling on existing ceramic or quarry floor tiles clean the floor with an appropriate floor cleaning compound Do not apply the green Warmup primer go to installation step 2 If tiling on water proof resistant surface ie Hardibacker do not apply the green Warmup primer go to installation step 2 Using the roller supplied apply the primer evenly to the entire surface to be heated The primer must be allowed to dry for a minimum of 3 hours The light green color of the primer will change to a darker green once dry and will be slightly sticky Good ventilation must be provided which along with a higher ambient air temperature will accelerate the drying process Avoid traffic over the subfloor once the primer has been applied IMPORTANT Test the Heater Strip the ends of the cold lead wire Test the black amp whit
