Operating Manual we understand Mode d em ploi Supplementary Instructions for J3 Drive Units with Battery Safety Package BSR Please read these instructions carefully before connecting or operating the electric drive An incorrect connection may cause a defect which is not covered by any warranty These instructions are intended as a supplement for the standard versions of the J3 drive units The operating instructions of the standard version are separately attached to the electric drive It is important to observe these as well for further technical information and operating instructions In general The battery pack is integrated in the housing of the drive unit on all J3 L H models The battery pack is only pre charged in the delivery status Prior to the first use the battery pack must always be charged for 12 hours to guarantee the complete safety function Important The battery pack is only charged as long as the drive is supplied with current Conversion NC to NO By default the safe traverse of the drive towards closed NC normally closed If the safe traverse will be changed to open NO normally open the complete unit must be returned to us Maintenance test The safety function must be checked every 12 months This can be done by disconnecting the supply line connector then the motor must move to the safety position unless the position is already reached Diagrams Technical Data
