Raccordement et installation Raccorder le cordon spiral extr mit du combin et a la prise situ e sur la gauche de l appareil Raccorder le cordon de ligne plat l arri re du t l phone et brancher l autre extr mit la prise murale Raccorder l adaptateur secteur l arri re du t l phone prise ronde et au secteur Une led t moin rouge s allume en face avant voir Page 2 A ATTENTION Avant toute ouverture de la trappe il faut se d connecter de la ligne t l phonique pour pr venir l utilisateur de tout choc lectrique L ouverture de la trappe ne peut se faire qu avec l aide d un outil Retirer la trappe l aide _ d un outil Ex Tournevis Piles non fournies S1 l on souhaite assurer la sauvegarde des num ros en m moire en cas de coupure d lectricit ou si l adaptateur secteur est d branch installer 4 piles de type AA Non fournies dans le compartiment pr vu cet effet sous le poste voir fig ci dessus en respectant le sens des polarit s indiqu sur le couvercle de la trappe piles Nota si les piles se d chargent trop pendant la coupure secteur une led rouge s allumera sur la face avant pour pr venir du besoin de remplacement des piles voir Page 2 Installation murale Le HD MAX Ampli peut tre install en mural en proc dant comme suit a Retourner le clip situ sur la base hauteur du crochet commutateur et l
3. aide des 2 curseurs de la face avant Nota si l interrupteur situ sous le poste est positionn sur ON il n est pas n cessaire d appuyer sur la touche Q Rappel C23 ATTENTION Avant toute utilisation et pour viter le risque de choc acoustique pour un utilisateur qui ne serait pas malentendant v rifier que l interrupteur situ sous le poste est en position MANUEL Interrupteur ampli Lorsque l interrupteur ampli situ sous la base de l appareil est en position MANUEL l amplification de l coute sera coup e a chaque fin de communication au raccroch du combin La position MANUEL permet diff rents utilisateurs qu ils soient malentendants ou pas de se servir du t l phone sans risque acoustique puisque lamplification se fait volontairement la demande en appuyant sur la touche 6 En revanche si le HD MAX Ampli est destin tre utilis en permanence avec l amplification il est pr f rable de basculer l interrupteur sur ON de cette mani re l amplification sera toujours active y compris apr s chaque raccroch de combin Nota en mode mains libres 1l n est pas n cessaire d enclencher la fonction d amplification avec la touche elle s active automatiquement quelque soit la position de l interrupteur situ sous le poste BIS P BIS PAUSE Cette touche BIS permet de rappeler le dernier num
4. appelant c Raccrocher le combin la fin de la conversation Appel en mains libres a Appuyer sur la touche A indicateur lumineux entourant cette touche s allume ainsi qu une led situ e en face avant b Composer le num ro ou engager la conversation avec l appelant c Appuyer nouveau sur la touche ni b en fin de conversation pour raccrocher Va et vient entre le combin et le mains libres En conversation avec le combin 1l est toujours possible de passer en mains libres en appuyant sur la touche et en raccrochant le combine Inversement en mode mains libres il est possible de poursuivre avec le combin simplement en le d crochant ce qui a pour effet de couper automatiquement le mode mains libres R glage et amplification du niveau d coute R glage grave aigu L coute au combin est r glable en volume et en tonalit pour la meilleure correction possible l attention des personnes malentendantes Ces r glages sont contr l s par les 2 curseurs situ s en face avant du poste Voir Page 2 Pour activer ces r glages il est n cessaire d appuyer sur la touche Voir Page 2 une led rouge situ e en face avant s claire pour confirmer l activation Fonctionnellement D crocher le combin Appuyer sur la touche Q la led rouge s allume R gler le volume et la tonalit au niveau souhait l

9. ed under the phone is on the MANUAL position See Amplify switch section for more details Adjusting Receive volume and Tone The volume and tone of the speech received through the handset can be adjusted for a better understanding by hearing impaired people Those adjustments can be made using the 2 sliding switches located on the front panel of the telephone To activate those sliding control switches the 1 button must be pressed a red led on the front panel will confirm this activation Pick up the handset Press O key the red led will light Adjust the sliding switches as needed Note if the amplify switch located under the telephone is in the ON position pressing Q gt key is not necessary Amplify switch When the Amplify switch located under the base is in the MANUAL position the receive speech boost will be canceled at the end of each conversation when hanging up the handset The MANUAL mode is convenient when different users hearing impaired or not use the same HD MAX Ampli telephone activating manually this feature on demand by pressing the gt gt key minimizes potential acoustic shocks However if the HD MAX Ampli should always be used with the receive boost on then the Amplify switch should be in the ON 12 mode this way the amplification boost will always be active even after each hanging up of the handset Note in the speakerphone mode pr
10. ery compartment cover disconnect from the line and from the AC adapter to prevent from potential electrical shock Use a tool like a small screwdriver or a pencil to push the battery compartment cover open Open with a tool Screwdriver for instance Batteries not included lf you wish to save numbers stored into memories and allow some amplifying in the handset in case of AC power shortage install 4 AA batteries Not included Make sure to observe the batteries polarity as displayed on the label of the battery compartment cover When using this telephone with battery power a low battery indicator on the front panel will light up if the batteries are low Wall mounting The HD Max Ampli can be wall mounted by following the procedure below a Slide out the clip located CE 3 lt next to the hook switch and Aa turn it upside down before sliding it back into place Note the clip will locate into a recess in the handset which will hold the handset when wall mounted b Fit the wall bracket supplied with the phone under the base of the phone locating the tabs on the bracket into the slots in the phone c Select an area of the wall where you would like to hang your phone and check that there are no pipes or electrical wires buried in the wall in this area d Drill 2 holes and fix 2 screws at 10cm intervals leaving the heads of the screws protruding e Align the keyhole slots in the rear of the phone with
11. essing Q gt key is not necessary it is automatically activated whatever the position of the amplify switch under the telephone BIS P LNR REDIAL PAUSE This key allows the last number dialed to be automatically redialed maximum capacity is 32 digits Pressing this key when dialing enters a timed pause in the dialing process this may be useful when storing a number into a memory key see Storing a Telephone number section ATT When pressing this key during a call the other party will be put on hold with music while on hold The handset can be hung up and a red led will light to alert someone is on hold To resume the conversation simply pick up the handset or press i key again to resume the conversation in the speakerphone mode One touch memory Keys 3 numbers can be stored into the memory keys M1 M2 and M3 To call a number stored in one of these 3 locations simply pick up the handset and press the memory key Each memory can store up to 16 digits numbers Note disconnecting the phone from the line will erase the numbers stored into the memory keys Storing a new number into a location where one number is already stored will automatically erase the previous number stored To erase a memory without storing a new number simply follow the storing process detailed here after without entering any number 13 Storing a number into a one touch memory key Pick up the handset Press PROG key En
