Bluetooth Adapter Note Texts marked by this symbol contain addi tional information Introduction The VC4 Bluetooth Adapter offers a universal interface by means of which mobile phones can be connected via Bluetooth to a VCA hands free speaking system that exists in the vehicle 28 Bluetooth The Bluetooth technology serves as wireless connection of a mobile phone to the hands free speaking system of your vehicle Bluetooth Profiles Exchange of data between Bluetooth de vices takes place using so called profiles Exchange of data by means of the VC4 Bluetooth Adapter takes place using the handsfree profile HFP Please check which profiles are supported by your mobile phone By means of the VC4 Bluetooth Adapter you can use the SIM card s telephone book the mobile phone s address book as well as its functions when they are supported by your mobile phone Mobil phone with handsfree profile HFP or headset profile HSP Handsfree profile or headset profile means that a mobile phone can be coupled with a VC4 Bluetooth Adapter by means of Bluetooth All functions that are offered by the mobile phone are supported via Bluetooth Range of a Bluetooth connection The range of the Bluetooth connection is limited to the passenger compartment It depends on the local conditions such as ob stacles between the devices and on interfer ences with other devices ATTENTION Please pay
