ZN tion ICaution Tip IT IT IT II II Apply sufficient clamps so that the weight of the pipes does not rest on the appliance Determine the remaining length of the roof terminal Make sure the roof terminal has the right dimensions Make sure that the right insertion length is maintained Connect the roof terminal to the concentric pipes Make sure that the universal tile fits well with the surrounding tiles Make sure that the adhesive plate fits well onto the flat roof 6 5 4 Connection of existing chimney It is possible to connect the appliance to an existing channel A flexible SS pipe is placed in the chimney for discharging flue gases The surrounding space is used to supply com bustion air The following requirements apply when connecting to an existing chimney only allowed when used in combination with the special DRU chimney kit The installation manual is also supplied the dimensions should be at least 150 x 150 mm the vertical length has a maximum of 12 meters the horizontal length has a maximum of 3 meters the existing chimney has to be clean the existing chimney has to be tight If the appliance is installed into an existing chimney by means of a chimney kit there may be a slight loss in heat output For setting the appliance the same conditions instructions apply as for the concentric system described above 6 6 Placing the chimney breast The appliance is designed to be

English METRO 100 INSTALLATION MANUAL II II IT Aiton II IT ICaution II II II LO II Place the appliance on its destined location The gas control is mounted under the appliance at the burner plate It should be disconnected and placed in the control box at a later stage For placing the gas control in the control box see section 6 7 Follow the procedure described below Disconnect the pipes ofthe gas control flexible gas pipe aluminium pilot burner pipe and thermocouple Disconnect the gas control from the burner plate by unscrewing the self tapping screw Make sure there is no dirt in gas pipes and connections Avoid kinks in the pipes Roll out the pipes in the direction of the control box Roll out the ignition cable in the direction of the control box The data plate should remain connected to the chain Place the chain with the data plate in the direction of the control box Set the height of the appliance using the adjustable feet and Make the appliance level at the same time Do not place the appliance too tightly against the back wall this is guaranteed by means of the wall brackets Make sure the space between the appliance s legs is kept free Do not cover the appliance and or do not wrap it in an insulation blanket or any other material Connect the appliance to the wall using wall brackets B and the key bolts supplied see fig 3 6 5 Flue gas discharge combu

Glasscheibe schr g nach unten absenken bis sie ganz aus dem Montagegestell entnommen werden kann 6 10 2 Einbau der Glasscheibe Beim Einbau der Glasscheibe gem der vorstehenden Beschreibung vorgehen jedoch in umgekehrter Reihenfolge Achtung Fingerabdr cke auf der Scheibe sind zu vermeiden beziehungsweise m ssen entfernt werden da diese andernfalls einbrennen Die Selbstbohrschrauben nicht zu stark festziehen damit sie nicht abbrechen beziehungsweise durchdrehen fest fest Die Fixierleiste ersetzen wenn sich das Dichtungsband gel st hat Beim Wiedereinsetzen folgende Hinweise beachten gt Erst kontrollieren ob beide Fixierleisten soweit wie m glich nach au en gedr ckt sind damit beim Einsetzen der Glas scheibe das Dichtungsband nicht besch digt wird gt Die Glasscheibe wieder einsetzen gt Kontrollieren ob der Haken an der Oberseite der Glasscheibe in der Fassung in der U f rmigen Leiste sitzt Tipp Versuchen Sie die Glasscheibe mit dem oberen Handgriff zu sich hin zu ziehen Wenn dies nicht gelingt sitzt die Glas scheibe gut fest Achtung Die untere Leiste der Glasscheibe wieder mit den 4 Selbstbohrschrauben befestigen gt Die beide unteren Keile nach unten dr cken gt Die beiden oberen Keile nach oben dr cken sodass beide Fixierleisten mit dem Dichtungsband gegen die Scheibe dr cken mp Anschlie end an jedem Keil die Selbstbohrschraube festziehen Achtung Beim Festdrehen den Keil mit

H he montiert werden Die Abmessungen des Schaltkastens sind den Hinweisen zum Einbau des Schaltkastens im Absatz 6 7 zu entnehmen Die Position der L ftungs ffnungen V Die Glasscheibe muss so dimensioniert sein dass sie sich nach der Montage des Kaminumbaus einsetzen bezie hungsweise ausbauen l sst Der Schutz des Gasregelblocks und der Leitungen vor Zement und Kalk L ftungs ffnungen sollten vorzugsweise an beiden Seiten des Kaminumbaus angebracht werden Dabei k nnen Sie die DRU L ftungselemente verwenden berzeugen Sie sich davon dass das konzentrische System korrekt montiert ist berpr fen Sie die Sicherung der Klemmb nder mit Selbstbohrschrauben an den Stellen die sp ter nicht mehr zug nglich sind Im Innenbereich des Kaminumbaus sollte gen gend Platz um das Ger t herum verbleiben damit die W rme entwei chen kann Innenh he mindestens 1350 mm Innere Breite mindestens 1300 mm Keinen Putz auf oder ber den Flanschen anbringen siehe Abb 2 maximale Verputzungslinie M da durch die W rme des Ger ts Risse entstehen k nnen die Glasscheibe dann nicht mehr aus oder eingebaut werden kann 28 95900005_ML1 Install indd 28 4 3 09 8 07 METRO 100 INSTALLATIONSANLEITUNG gt Wenn Steinmaterialien zum Einsatz gelangen beziehungsweise wenn verputzt wird den Kaminumbau zum Schutz vor Rissbildung mindestens 6 Wochen lang trocknen lassen bevor er in Betrieb genomme

INSTALLATIONSANLEITUNG Achtung UI IT IT IT II ug gt Achtung Il gt 6 5 2 Anwendung mit Windschutzeinrichtung an der Au enwand 6 5 2 1 Aufbau des konzentrischen Systems mit Windschutzeinrichtung an der Au enwand Das konzentrische System mit Au enwanddurchf hrung muss die folgenden Auflagen erf llen Zun chst muss an das Ger t mindestens 0 5 Meter konzentrische Rohrl nge vertikal angeschlossen werden Das vertikale Rohr darf insgesamt maximal 4 Meter lang sein Hinter dem vertikalen Abschnitt wird ein 90 Bogen angeschlossen Bei einer vertikalen Rohrl nge von 0 5 Metern darf die horizontale Gesamtrohrl nge maximal 2 Meter betragen abgesehen von der Windschutzeinrichtung siehe Abb 4a Beieiner vertikalen Rohrl nge zwischen minimal 1 Meter und maximal 4 Metern darf die horizontale Gesamtrohr l nge maximal 3 Meter betragen abgesehen von der Windschutzeinrichtung siehe Abb 4b In Abh ngigkeit von der Konstruktion des konzentrischen Systems muss das Ger t noch genauer justiert werden Einzelheiten zur Bestimmung der entsprechenden Vorgaben sind der Tabelle 1 zu entnehmen beziehungsweise stehen konkrete Anweisungen im Absatz 6 8 ber die Justierung des Ger ts Tabelle 1 Bedingungen f r die Justierung des Ger ts bei einer Windschutzeinrichtung an der Au enwand G20 G25 Gesamte verti Gesamtehorizontale Siehe Abbildung Lufteinlass Drosselschieber Drosseldistanz

16. metro 100 and the metro 100 tunnel The metro 100 is a standard appliance It is always mounted against a wall The metro 100 tunnel is a look through appliance it has a pane at the font and back The appliances can be used with natural gas The Metro 100 and Metro 100 tunnel are room sealed atmospheric gas fired heating appliances A room sealed ap pliance does not extract the combustion air from the living environment but from outside This is done by means of acombined flue gas discharge system combustion air supply system In this concentric system the outer pipe functions as the air supply and the inner pipe functions as the flue gas discharge This system can be installed through the wall or through the roof These appliances are built within a chimney breast For this DRU has a number of chimney breasts in its range In order to reach a proper heat discharge the chimney breast must be ventilated DRU is able to supply various ventilation elements The appliances are supplied with a wireless remote control that works on batteries 2 CE declaration We hereby declare that the design and construction of DRU s atmospheric gas fired heating appliance comply with the essential requirements of the Gas Appliance Directive Product atmospheric gas fired heating appliance Type Metro 100 Metro 100 tunnel Applicable EEC directives 90 396 EEC Applied harmonized standards NEN EN 613 NEN EN 613 A1 Internal measures by the

72. ting it out Unscrew the 4 self tapping screws in the bottom strip using the socket spanner supplied with the appliance Loosen the 3 self tapping screws in the fastening strips on both sides 2 turns Do not remove the self tapping screws leave them in place in the fastening strips Push the 2 top wedges left and right down as far as possible Push the 2 bottom wedges upwards as far as possible Press the two fastening strips outwards with your hands as far as possible to avoid damage to the sealing cord when removing the glass window Take hold of the top and bottom handgrips and lift the glass window Pull on the bottom handgrip to tilt the glass window in its mounting towards you and at the same time pull the top of the glass window towards you as far as possible Firmly hold the upper grip If you let go of the handgrip then the glass window could fall inwards and cause severe damage to both the glass and the appliance Make sure that you lift the glass window out of its mounting as straight as possible to avoid damage to the paint work and the sealing cord Gently allow the glass window to drop at an angle until it can be removed entirely from the mounting 6 10 2 Placing the glass window The glass window is fitted by using the above procedure in reverse order Avoid remove fingerprints on the pane since otherwise they will burn into the surface The self tapping screws must not be over tightened since otherwise they
