ABell amp Wyson We light your security MANUEL D UTILISATION BW 1 2 USER MANUAL BW 1 2 BENUTZERHANDBUCH BW 1 2 www Bellandwyson com FR Tirez sur la languette positionn e sur l ampoule afin d activer la pile Une fois la languette retir e le voyant vert s allume a Appuyez sur le bouton test qui se trouve au niveau du voyant vert pendant 2 secondes Le voyant devient alors rouge et un signal sonore retentit 2 fois par seconde a 3 reprises cons cutives confirmant ainsi que le circuit lectrique la sirene et la batterie sont en parfait tat de fonctionnement Apres ce test le voyant doit passer au vert Il vous suffit ensuite de visser votre ampoule dans la douille type E 27 et vous profiterez pleinement de lEclairage en appuyant simplement sur l interrupteur Enlevez d licatement la pile Pour changer la pile appuyez d licatement avec votre doigt l endroit de la marque triangle puis utilisez un petit tournevis plat par exemple pour faire levier et soulevez ensuite le cache Replacez le cache en appuyant d licatement dessus jusqu ce que le cache reprenne sa position initiale Vous devrez entendre un l ger clic Le cache ferm devra tre parfaitement ajust Remplacez la pile par une pile neuve exactement dans le bon sens polarit Pour vous rep rer le culot de l ampoule doit tre positionn vers le bas

B insertion et remplacement de la pile Si le voyant se met clignoter en rouge et vert alternativement et que le signal sonore se d clenche bri vement deux fois par seconde ceci vous avertit que le d tecteur de fum e est d fectueux Vous devez alors vous rapprocher du service apr s vente Bell amp Wyson et remplacer le cas ch ant le d tecteur d fectueux le temps de son ventuelle remise en tat de marche Merci dans ce cas vous reporter la section 9 service apr s vente 19 La Limitation de la fonction d tecteur de fum e A LIRE ATTENTIVEMENT La protection contre l incendie dans les locaux usage d habitation repose principalement sur le signalement pr coce aux occupants de la n cessit de s chapper ainsi que du suivi par ces derniers des proc dures d vacuation Bien qu un d tecteur de fum e en tat de marche augmente les chances de survie un incendie potentiellement fatal les victimes sont souvent trop proches de l incendie trop g es ou trop jeunes ou encore handicap es physiquement ou mentalement de telle sorte qu elles sont incapables de s chapper m me lorsqu elles sont averties assez t t pour qu une vacuation soit possible Pour ces personnes d autres strat gies comme la protection sur place ou encore l vacuation ou les secours assist s sont n cessaires e Les incendies domestiques se d veloppent de diff rentes mani res et sont souvent impr visibles et un d tecte

D REPLACING THE BATTERY A Lift the cover on the bulb to open the battery compartment the CR123 battery must be inserted in the correct orientation polarity Fig 6 diagram opening the bulb s cover Fig 6 diagram inserting the battery and position Fig 6 49 Loi Installation instructions If the indicator light flashes red and green and the alarm sounds briefly the battery must be replaced immediately Lift the cover using a suitable screwdriver as shown above Fig 6 Gently remove the used battery Replace it with a new battery of exactly the same type 3V CR 123 lithium battery The battery must be inserted in the correct orientation polarity Replace the cover on the bulb Press the test button located by the green indicator light for 2 seconds as shown in Fig 4 The light will turn red and an audible signal will sound twice per second three consecutive times confirming that the electrical circuit has been made and that the alarm and the battery are in correct working order This signal indicates that the smoke detector has been correctly initialised The light should return to green after the test The smoke detector and alarm is now active Only replace the battery with a brand new one The battery terminals must never be short circuited This should only be done by an adult 50 C TEST THE DETECTOR ONCE A WEEK Press the test button located by the
