Note Once the Home Valet Mode is activated the vehicle will not start by remote To take the system into Home Valet Mode e Press the LOCK or UNLOCK button e Within 5 seconds press the Lock and START STOP button simultaneously The transmitter will beep once and the Home Valet icon will start flashing The icon will flash until the vehicle exits Home Valet Mode To take the system o ut of Home Valet Mode e Turn the ignition key to the IGNITION ON RUN position The system will warn you if someone attempts to start your vehicle while it stands in Home Valet Mode The parking lights will P 10 User Guide e Go ON then oFF then e Flash twice pause then e Flash twice again Remote Valet Mode This feature will allow you to remotely put your system into Valet Mode by using the transmitter instead of the Valet button as above Getting into Remote Valet Mode e Hold the UNLOCK and START STOP buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds e The Parking Lights will flash 3 times The Transmitter will BEEP once and will display the icon the LED will remain on solid Getting out of Remote Valet Mode e Hold the UNLOCK and START STOP buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds e The Parking Lights will flash 2 times The Transmitter will BEEP once and the icon will disappear the LED will turn off Note With the Remote Valet activated the remote starter function will be disabled Panic Mode In an emergency situation you can activate Pa

The engine will go on running until the user re enters the vehicle or until the expiration of the Engine Run Time Caution Do not leave children or pets unattended in a vehicle standing in Idle Mode Turbo Mode If Turbo Mode is configured at installation it will allow a turbocharger to idle down after the user leaves the vehicle the unit will take over the vehicle and keep it running for 60 seconds or until it is shut down by remote control then shut down the engine Proceed as follows to set the system to Turbo Mode 1 With the engine already running press the Lock button on the transmitter until the parking lights come ON 2 Remove the ignition key from the ignition switch The engine will go on running 3 Exit the vehicle and close the door D2 User Guide P 9 Press the TRUNK button to lock the doors the engine will shut down after 60 seconds of Turbo Mode Valet Mode with the Valet Switch When your vehicle is in Valet Mode the remote starter functionalities are disabled If the vehicle needs to be serviced or if you park it indoors the Valet Mode will prevent the engine from being remote started accidentally To put the system into Valet Mode 1 Turn the ignition key to the IGNITION ON RUN position 2 Within 3 sec press the valet button the L E D will come ON solid To take the system out of Valet Mode 1 Turn the ignition key to the IGNITION ON RUN position 2 Within 3 sec press and release the
4. should not be left on HIGH It is recommended to leave the settings on LOW or MEDIUM instead Windshield Wipers amp Radio amp Headlights Certain vehicles require the radio and or windshield wiper and or headlight circuits to become energized while running under remote start When leaving the vehicle you must ensure that the windshield wiper and headlight switches are OFF Leaving the headlight switch ON on certain types of vehicles could cause them to remain ON even after remote starter shut down resulting in a dead battery Driving Off With the vehicle running under remote control press the UNLOCK button to disarm and unlock the doors Enter the vehicle and do the following P 8 User Guide e Turn the ignition key to the IGNITION ON RUN position Do not turn the key to the CRANK position while the engine is running This would cause the starter motor to re engage e Press the brake pedal to disengage the remote starter unit You are now ready to drive off Using the System Arming and Disarming the System To disarm the alarm and Starter Kill if installed and unlock the doors if installed 1 Press and hold the UNLOCK button for approx 1 sec You will hear two chirps if the Siren or Horn is so configured The icon will light up on the LCD display of the remote control The parking lights will flash twice and the L E D will go out to confirm that the doors have been unlocked and that the Starter Kill if install

Lock Disabled by default Before it can remote start your vehicle the System must first disarm the factory security system The Secure Lock feature may be required on certain vehicle models with factory security systems that automatically unlock the doors when the security system is disarmed To keep your vehicle protected when the factory security system is disarmed for a remote start secure Lock will relock your doors as soon as the vehicle has started Once the engine run cycle ends Secure Lock will rearm your factory security system Turbo Mode Enabled by default When left in Turbo Mode the System will keep the engine running for 60 seconds before shutting it down This is to allow a turbocharger to idle down after the user leaves the vehicle See Turbo Mode section earlier in this Guide Remote Trunk Release If your system was installed with the Remote Trunk Release option you can open your trunk by pressing the TRUNK button for 3 seconds on the remote transmitter or by pressing the TRUNK button TWICE within 3 seconds Engine Run Time 15 20 minutes by default If you have a gas engine your System can be programmed to run the engine for 4 15 or 25 minutes 15 minutes by default If you have a diesel engine the System can be programmed to run the engine for 9 20 or 30 minutes 20 minutes default Multi car Operation This option allows the owner of two vehicles both equipped with System systems to control both systems

9. the functions see LCD Remote Operation Tables Note If you wish to exit a function while still in the process of accessing it simply stop and wait for at least 10 seconds the Remote Control will return to its normal state Basic Vehicle Operation The vehicle can be remote started and stopped using the START STOP 4 button The TRUNK mill button will open the Trunk if this feature is installed on the vehicle The Lock and UNLOCK buttons will lock and unlock the Doors of the vehicle if the Remote Door Lock feature is installed on the vehicle and arm or disarm the Starter Kill if installed User Guide P 3 The FUNCTION E button is used to access all advanced functions of the Remote Control Refer to the LCD Operation and Confirmations tables Alarm Clock The LCD Remote Control has a built in Alarm Clock which can be set up using the E but ton Use the E and buttons to switch the Alarm Clock on and off refer to the tables Time Adjust Mode Use Time Adjust Mode to set the current time on your Remote Control using the E button refer to the tables Countdown Timer This feature allows set up a countdown of a duration entered by the user in hours and minutes using the E button refer to the tables Parking Countdown This version of the Countdown feature is particularly useful for keeping track of parking meter time tha user may quickly set up the countdown in slices of 10 or 30 minutes using the E and b
10. with a single remote control To control the second vehicle simultaneously press the TRUNK button and the button of the function you wish to use See the transmitter operation table earlier in this Guide for full instructions on second car operation Note Your remote control must be configured for second car operation by the installer L E D Intrusion Codes If an intrusion took place while your vehicle was locked and the system was armed the L E D will provide feedback on the intrusion The L E D intrusion codes are flashed by the L E D in continuous loops and are as follows 1 flash power up reset battery disconnected and reconnected or dead battery 2 flash doors intrusion 3 flash shock sense 4 flash hood intrusion 5 flash panic 6 flash ignition P 14 User Guide Troubleshooting Poor Transmitting Range Many factors may affect the operating range of the transmitter Some of these are The condition of the battery in the transmitter The operating environment for example downtown radio frequency noise airports cellular phone towers Metal any type of metal will affect operating range This includes the metal in the car The shape of the vehicle can affect range as well vans in general have an especially poor range The shape of the roof and A pillars brings about considerable radio frequency deflection in this case the signal from the remote control As a result the direction in which the vehicl

12. d the Anti grind Feature With this added security feature the system will prevent your vehicle from starting with the ignition key when the Starter Kill is armed If your System was installed with the Starter Kill option one will not be able to start your vehicle with the key unless the system has been unlocked and disarmed first or put into Valet Mode P 12 User Guide Note If the Starter Kill is installed your vehicle will benefit from a protection against starter motor damage that could occur after remote starting the engine should the user by force of habit turn the ignition key to the CRANK position Shock Sense Warn away Sense Both enabled by default Your System will react to a full shock by triggering the alarm it can also respond to a lighter shock 30 of the strength of a full shock by giving a warn away without triggering an alarm condition When the engine is running after a remote start however the System will prevent any alarm condition to be triggered it will still give a warn away if this feature has not been disabled at installation Note After a remote start although the shock sensor is disabled all the other alarm triggering zones such as the doors or the hood may still trigger an alarm Disarmed Notification Off by default This feature will notify the user when the vehicle was left disarmed after the engine is shut down with the key removed and all doors are closed the siren will chir

14. e is facing in relation to the remote control can affect the range Straight on standing in front of the vehicle generally gives you the greatest range the second best performance is from the back Using the remote control from either side of the vehicle will usually give the lowest range The range will be significantly lower in a crowded parking lot than in open space Always hold the transmitter high approximately at shoulder height Holding the transmitter against your chin will also increase your range your head acts as an antenna The operating range will be somewhat lower on vehicles equipped with an aftermarket or factory alarm User Guide P 15

17. nic Mode using the LOCK or UNLOCK button This will e shut down the engine e disarm the Starter Kill and e unlock the doors with the UNLOCK button e activate the activate the siren for 1 minute e or lock the doors with the Lock button Note See the description of the Starter Kill option later in this Guide To activate Panic Mode e Press and hold the UNLOCK button for approximately 3 sec until the sound signal starts and the parking lights flash this will unlock the doors before the sound signal starts e Or press and hold the Lock button for approximately 3 seconds until the sound signal Starts and the parking lights flash this will lock the doors before the sound signal starts Panic Mode will automatically shut down after 1 minute Note To stop Panic Mode before the end of its delay press the LOCK or UNLOCK button until the sound signal stops Quick Lockout Also called Secure Panic For fast protection in emergency situations the system will Lock all doors when you press the brake pedal while you hear the sound signal Quick Lockout is only available when Panic Mode has been set off Cold Weather Mode When Cold Weather Mode is active the engine starts every 2 hours and runs for 4 minutes or for 9 or 20 minutes with diesel engines Cold Weather Mode automatically ends after 24 hours To enter Cold Weather Mode e Press and hold the START STOP button for 3 seconds until the parking lights flash 3X The remote c
18. ontrol will play a melody and the M icon will appear on the display To exit Cold Weather Mode do any one of the following actions e Open the hood e Start the engine by remote e Turn the ignition key to the IGNITION ON RUN position User Guide P 11 e Press and hold the START STOP button for 3 sec the parking lights will flash once When the System exits Cold Weather Mode the V icon will disappear from the display To verify whether the system is in Cold Weather Mode e Press and release the brake pedal If the vehicle is in Cold Weather Mode the parking lights will stay on while the pedal is pressed Temporary Chirp Delete To temporarily disable the chirp confirmations of the siren upon arming and disarming e g in a quiet neighbourhood 1 Press the TRUNK button 2 Within 3 sec press the LOCK or UNLOCK button to arm or disarm without any chirps Advanced Features Installation programmable Options The System was designed with flexibility and OEM integration in mind With its programmable options this unit can single handedly control nearly any electrical system in your vehicle Caution The programming of your system should be left to a professional Changing any one of the settings may affect the operation of your System The installation programmable options are as follows e Remote Door Locks e Siren Horn Chirp Timing e Priority Door Access e Safe Start e Passive or Active Arming e Ignition controlled Do
19. or Locks e Starter Kill Anti grind feature e Ignition Re lock e Shock Sense and Warn away e Secure Lock e Disarmed Notification e Turbo Mode e Siren Chirps Horn Honks e Remote Trunk Release e Car Finder e Engine Run Time Remote Door Locks If your System was installed with the Remote Door Locks option you will have the convenience of remote keyless entry See section Arming and Disarming the System earlier in this Guide for further instructions on remote door locking and unlocking Priority Door Access Enabled by default If the Remote Door Locks option is installed on your vehicle this safety feature allows you unlock solely the driver s door with a single press of the UNLOCK button on the transmitter upon a second press of the UNLOCK button all the other doors will unlock Active or Passive Arming Passive Mode by default The alarm and Starter Kill can be configured either to Passive Mode so as to arm automatically or Active Mode so as to require user intervention for arming By default your System is configured to Passive Mode In Passive Mode the alarm and Starter Kill will automatically arm 30 seconds after the last door is closed The System will not arm if a door is left open or if you re open a door within the 30 second delay Important note When the System re arms automatically or if there is an alarm condition you can disarm the When the System by simply pressing the UNLOCK button The Starter Kill an
20. p once after a 10 sec notification delay to warn the user that the vehicle was left unprotected The notification can be avoided by pressing the LOCK or UNLOCK button on the transmitter The user will likewise be notified after the System is disarmed using the transmitter Siren or Horn Chirps ON by default The siren will chirp to confirm basic operations on the System e By default upon locking the doors the siren will give one chirp if no protection zone is active e f a zone is active as the doors are being locked the siren will give three chirps e When the doors are being unlocked the siren will give two chirps if no intrusion was detected e f an intrusion was detected as the doors are being unlocked the siren will give four chirps The system can alternatively be set to Warning Mode no chirp during lock unlock e unless a zone is active when locking in which case there will be 3 chirp upon locking e orunless the alarm was triggered in which case there will be 4 chirps when unlocking Open Zone Notification Mode 3 warning chirps if a door is left open 10 sec after arming No Chirp the siren will not chirp under any circumstance Car Finder Enabled by default When enabled the Car Finder option will help you locate your vehicle by generating a pulsating signal through the horn or the siren To hear the signal press the Lock and UNLOCK buttons simultaneously This will cause a pulsating signal lasting for the time yo
