Urology Suite User s Guide 47 10 In the Patient Profile section of the screen review the patient information for accuracy and completeness including e Target Volume e Return Date If the information is correct click the Submit button to accept the Patient Profile update the information in the database and reprogram the instrument If changes are required for example the parameters for the target volume make the necessary changes and then click the Submit button Important Before you send the instrument home with the patient in order for the instrument to function properly you must verify and update the patient information so that it is accurate and complete 1f you do not verify the patient information the instrument will not perform exams or operate properly for the patient After you click the Submit button confirm that the status box displays the following message Preparing device for exam percent transmitted Transmission will take a few minutes so please be patient When the transmission is complete confirm that ScanPoint displays the following message Device is ready to perform exam You have successfully verified patient information for the Bladder Monitor Viewing and Printing Bladder Monitor Exam Results Once BVI 6300 exam data has been transmitted to ScanPoint ScanPoint analyzes the data and makes the exam results available to you for viewing and printing This section descr

Chapter 2 Introduction to BladderScan in this Urology Suite User s Guide You need to calibrate the scanning unit In this case the LCD screen displays zero as the number of days remaining until calibration and you must calibrate the scanning unit before you can continue to perform bladder volume measurements See Chapter 6 Inspecting and Maintaining BladderScan for instructions on displaying the days remaining until calibration and calibrating the scanning unit Note This does not apply for the BV 6300 The scanning unit beeps The scanning unit may beep in the following situations You turn on the scanning unit The scanning unit goes into sleep mode to conserve battery power The battery power is low and the battery requires recharging In this case the battery icon will show no power segments Place the scanning unit in the charging cradle or communication cradle to recharge the battery You need to calibrate the scanning unit In this case when you press and hold down the Top Gender button for five seconds the LCD screen will display zero as the number of days remaining until calibration For more information about calibrating the scanning unit see Chapter 6 Inspecting and Maintaining BladderS can in this Urology Suite User s Guide Note This does not apply for the BV 6300 The scanning unit performs and completes a bladder volume or calibration measurement The scanning unit has begun or fi
