1. Training Required The ZoomR requires you to train and practise in an area that is free from obstacles allows you to fall safely without injury and develop the skill necessary to use it safely and effectively See the Safety Equipment Section before training OPERATING PROCEDURE 10 Starting Press the power button Mounting Always start with the ZoomR in front to mount Place the ZoomR on flat level ground free from obstacles other people devices or items that you may collide with Facing the ZoomR place one foot flat on the footpad which will trigger the ZoomR to engage and will take several seconds to calibrate self balancing once the green LED running display indicates the Zoomk is balanced then put the other foot on the device Distribute your weight evenly Mounting the ZoomR is best likened to the motion of climbing up stairs Balance Balancing is key to be able to control the ZoomR effectively and safely It is vital that you are able to keep the ZoomR stationary and maintain your balance without falling off If you are unable to maintain balance on the ZoomR while stationary then you should not proceed to attempting to move the ZoomR Have someone assist you to maintain balance Once you are able to balance while the ZoomR is stationary you should then proceed to small movement You should move your weight slightly forward so that the ZoomR moves straight forward for no more than 1 m Then bring the ZoomR to stop by

12. omR without learning and practising in a safe obstacle free area When you stand on the ZoomR and shift your weight forward the wheels will move forward if you shift your weight backward the wheels will move backward To turn you need to slow down and shift your weight in the direction you wish to go while keeping your balance Failing to slow down before turning or attempting high speed turns can cause serious injury or death Although the built in inertia dynamic stabilisation systems can keep the ZoomR moving in either forwards or back incorrect weight distribution can cause the direction to change and cause you to lose your balance and fall Turning on the ZoomR takes practise and skill it is essential that you take the time to develop your skills so as to prevent injury or death Safe Use of ZoomR GENERAL PRINCIPLES OF SAFE USE The ZoomR is a fun device that can be used safely when the user has spent sufficient time practising in a safe area learning how to use correctly Like learning to ride a bike driving a car or other skill users cannot expect to jump straight on the device and use it safely and efficiently Like other devices should you intentionally use it too fast or beyond a speed not comfortable to maintain control off road for stunts tricks or other ways it is not intended can result in serious injury or death Do not make any modification to the software or the parts as it will affect the performance of the Z
