6. chain See Master Slave Mode for details To ensure full access to all channels in each DMX mode the highest recommended DMX address is 501 Master Slave mode allows a single Freedom Par Tri 6 the master to control the actions of one or more Freedom Par Tri 6 units the slaves without a DMX controller The master will be set to operate in either an auto program or Sound Active mode while the slaves will be set to DMX starting address d 1 Once set and connected the slaves will operate in unison with the master Configure the units as indicated below Slaves Press MENU repeatedly until any DMX personality shows on the display Press lt ENTER gt to accept Set the DMX address to d 1 Connect the DMX input of the first slave to the DMX output of the master Connect the DMX input of the subsequent slaves to the DMX output of the previous slave Finish setting and connecting all the slaves aster Set the master to operate in either an auto program or Sound Active mode Make the master the first unit in the DMX daisy chain Configure all the slaves to Slave mode before connecting the master to the DMX daisy chain Never connect a DMX controller to a DMX daisy chain of master and slaves Make the master the first unit in the DMX daisy chain Always put the male DMX connector DMX Out into the master DO NOT connect more than 31 slaves to the master using DMX cable When selecting a starting DMX address always consider the number
