3. to indicate it has been powered on and again when tt is turned off Soundship has five play modes which can be accessed through a circular menu system by pressing the MODE button to the left of the display The default mode is Bluetooth the other modes can be accessed in the order below BLUETOOTH IPOD FM AUX CLOCK BLUETOOTH During normal usage the system will remember the mode status before it is turned off When the system is turned on again the previous mode status will continue to operate However each time the power is unplugged from the socket the system will enter into the Bluetooth mode once the system is turned on again e When in Bluetooth mode the speaker will automatically go into Bluetooth discovery mode this is indicated by two audible beeps and the word PAIRING on the speaker display e To pair the speaker to your SmartPhone or other Bluetooth enabled audio device ensure that your device has Bluetooth switched on you may need to go into your device settings to switch this on e Next using your phone settings Scan for devices This will list all available Bluetooth devices in the local area e Choose Soundship from the menu and press Pair e There should be no need to enter a passcode Soundship will pair automatically However if your device does ask for a code the default is 0000 e You phone will display Connected once the speaker is paired and the speaker

6. ble Setting the clock alarm and sleep e Clock setting Press CLOCK on remote control to select clock CLOCK will be displayed adjustment mode 12H 12H or 24H will be displayed on the screen Note This will only work when the speaker is in Clock mode Once in clock setting mode and 12H is flashing on the display press gt gt or lt lt to change to 24H Then press CLOCK again to confirm the 12H 24H mode Then the hour indication will flash on the screen Press gt gt or lt lt to select the time and press CLOCK to confirm the selection After confirming the hour selection the minute indication will flash on the screen Press gt gt or lt lt to select the minute and press CLOCK to confirm the selection Note During the time setting process if nothing is entered within 5 seconds the system will leave the setting mode For 12H mode AM or PM will be shown on the display e Alarm Setting Press ALARM on the remote control to select alarm setting mode ON or OFF will be shown on the screen Once in alarm setting mode and ON or OFF is flashing on the display press gt gt or lt lt to change to OFF or ON Press ALARM again to select the mode ON OFF Then the hour indication will flash on the screen Press gt gt or lt lt to select the time and press ALARM to confirm the selection User Manual After con
7. elected Installing the Dock e To use the docking feature you will firstly need to remove the flat docking cover do this by gentle pushing down on one side of the cover this will cause the other side to raise up Now gentle insert a fingernail or other thin object under the cover and lift it off e Select the correct connector for your model phone there is an option for iPhone 30 pin iPhone Lightening and Micro USB e On the underside of the dock there are two sliding buttons pinch these together to open the connector clips and at the same time insert the phone connector into the slot in the topside of the dock then release the buttons The connector will now be securely inserted in the dock Note The connector can only be placed in one way please look to align the notch correctly Now you can place the dock into the slot on the top of the main speaker O User Manual Menu Up Down and OK keys There are four dedicated keys on the remote for iPod iPhone control Menu Up Down and OK Menu key is used to return to one level up on the menu Up key is used to move up one item in the menu a b c Down key is used to move down one item in the menu d OK key is used to confirm selection FM Radio Operation Press MODE to select FM mode The tuner frequency will be shown on the screen CH1 94 0MHz FM willbe displayed Manual tuning for FM e Press gt gt to increase frequency by one step e Press lt lt to dec

11. he rear of the dock User Manual HELP amp TROUBLESHOOTING There is no power There is no sound I hear buzzing or humming If you have any questions Note e Press the POWER button on the remote control or on the front of your speaker The display should scroll HELLO then go into the last playback mode you used e Eusure the power cord is securely connected e Ensure the light on the power adapter is glowing green e Plug a different device into the electrical outlet to verify that the outlet is working correctly e Increase the volume Press Volume Up on the remote control or on the front of your speaker e Press MUTE on the remote to ensure the speaker is not muted e Press MODE on the remote control or on the front of your speaker to select a different input source e f you are trying to use the 3 5mm output from your TV ensure it is the OUTPUT connector you are using Some TVs use 3 5 mm audio INPUT for devices such as computers e Your TV may be set to variable audio output Confirm that the audio output setting is set to FIXED or STANDARD not VARIABLE Consult your TV s user manuel for more detailed information e If trying to use Bluetooth mode check that Bluetooth is properly connected and the LED indicator light is in solid blue state Also check that the volume level is not set too low or the mute button has been pressed e Ensure all cables and wires are securely connected e Connect a dif
