English OPERATION The driver mechanism can usually be returned to its operating a position by depressing the workpiece contact against ascrap E piece of wood and squeezing the trigger E If this does not automatically return the driver mechanism into the tool the tool may be jammed If a nail or fastener becomes jammed in the tool remove E the battery pack and keep the tool pointed away from you E while clearing the jam m E Remove battery pack from the tool a Remove fasteners from the tool Pull up on the latch and open the jam release Insert a flat blade screwdriver into the tip of the driving mechanism and push the driver mechanism back freeing the nail jam Remove the bent nail Close the jam release and latch Reinstall nails Reinstall the battery pack reactivate tool TROUBLESHOOTING PROBLEM Work contacting element does not Low nails depress fully tool does not operate Tool operates properly but fasteners do Air pressure is too low not drive fully Tool operates properly but fasteners are Air pressure is too high Depth of drive is too deep driven too deep Incorrect nails Damaged nails Loose magazine Dirty magazine Tool jams frequently POSSIBLE CAUSE Work contacting element is jammed Depth of drive isn t deep enough Nail is too long for wood hardness SOLUTION Replenish nails Remove battery and clear debris Increase air pressure Adjust depth of drive Use na

ACT ACTUATION MODE Contact actuation allows very fast repetitive fastener placement E Remove the battery pack from the tool Slide the selector to position TTT Reinstall the battery pack Grip the tool firmly to maintain control Squeeze and hold the trigger Push the tool against the work surface to depress the workpiece contact and drive a nail NOTE Hold trigger and keep workpiece contact depressed until drive cycle is complete E Always remove your finger from the trigger when the desired number of nails has been driven NOTE In Contact Actuation Mode the tool may also be operated by depressing the workpiece contact against the surface and squeezing the trigger A WARNING During normal use the tool will recoil immediately after driving a fastener This is a normal function of the tool Do not attempt to prevent the recoil by holding the nailer against the work Restriction to the recoil can result in a second fastener being driven from the nailer Failure to heed this warning can result in serious personal injury DRY FIRE LOCKOUT When the magazine has 0 5 nails remaining the dry fire lockout feature will not allow continued operation To resume operation reload the tool with nails LED WORKLIGHT See Figure 10 page 15 E To turn on the LEDs press LED worklight grip switch while firmly holding tool during normal operation DIAGNOSTIC FEEDBACK The LED Worklight provides feedback to indicate

17. nt marring and denting when working with softer woods A WARNING Remove the battery pack from the tool before removing or replacing the no mar pad Failure to do so could result in serious personal injury The pad can be removed by pulling it down and away from the nose To replace the pad fit it into place over the nose and push up at the back to reseat On board storage for the pad is located on the magazine of the tool An extra no mar pad is provided in the on board storage area LOADING THE TOOL WITH NAILS See Figures 4 5 pages 13 and 14 E Remove battery pack from the tool if installed E Depress the release button and slide the pusher all the way to the rear of the magazine until it locks in place E With the nose of the tool pointed away from you feed a strip of nails into the magazine Be sure the nails are pointed downward and at the angle shown NOTE The tip of the nails should be parallel to the bottom edge of the magazine A WARNING Keep the tool pointed away from yourself and others when loading nails Failure to do so could result in possible serious personal injury E Press the release button to release the pusher and allow it to push the nails up to the driving mechanism The pusher will stop when it rests against the end of the nail strip NOTE Do not allow the pusher to snap back into place A WARNING Use only the nails recommended for use with this tool The use of any other nail
18. nterior and exterior Door amp Window Casing Door Jambs Baseboard Crown Molding Cabinetry Cap and Shoe Molding Molding Staircases Door and Window Trim Chair Rail Brickmold Hardwood Flooring Paneling Furniture ATTACH BELT CLIP See Figure 1 page 13 The belt clip can be installed on the left or right side of the nailer depending on operator preference E Align belt clip and screw with right or left side screw hole E Using a phillips head screwdriver not included tighten securely INSTALLING REMOVING BATTERY PACK See Figure 2 page 13 E To install place battery pack in the tool Align raised rib on battery pack with the groove inside the tool E Make sure the latches on both sides of the battery pack snap in place and battery pack is secured in the tool before beginning operation NOTE Squeeze LED light grip switch to activate nailer NOTICE When placing battery pack in the tool be sure raised rib on battery pack aligns with the bottom of the tool and latches into place properly Improper installation of the battery pack can cause damage to internal components 8 English OPERATION E To remove locate latches on both sides of battery pack and depress to release battery pack from the tool E The battery pack will disconnect in direction to be removed when latches are depressed NO MAR PAD See Figure 3 page 13 The no mar pad attached to the nose of the tool helps preve

20. s can result in tool malfunction leading to serious injuries A WARNING Never load nails with the workpiece contact or trigger activated Doing so could result in possible serious personal injury SETTING THE AIR PRESSURE See Figure 6 page 14 The amount of air pressure required will depend on the size of the nail and the workpiece material Begin testing the depth of drive by driving a test nail into the same type of workpiece material used for the actual job E Remove battery pack from the tool Move air pressure lever to the right to increase air pressure or to the left to decrease pressure It may be possible to achieve the desired depth with air pressure adjustments alone If finer adjustments are needed use the depth of drive adjustment on the tool DEPTH OF DRIVE ADJUSTMENT See Figure 7 page 14 The driving depth of the nail may be adjusted beyond air pressure Itis advisable to test the depth on a scrap workpiece to determine the required depth for the application To determine depth of drive first adjust the air pressure and drive atest nail To achieve the desired depth use the depth of drive adjustment on the tool Harder materials and longer nails will require more force to drive the nail E Remove battery pack from the tool E Turn the depth of drive adjustment left or right to change the driving depth E Reinstall battery and reactivate the tool by pressing the worklight grip switch E Dr
